LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
True Believers Tour (card #15) 01.May.12 - Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, Cleveland, OH
THE SPOILER def. Lou Albano via pinfall at 2:29. - Spoiler finished Albano <snake eyes> with a ropewalk smash. Albano wanted revenge for the injury he suffered at the hands of Spoiler after defeating him a little over a month ago. Unleashing a barrage of heavy blows, Spoiler managed to balance the scales against Albano. When Spoiler tried to continue his assault after the bell, The Destroyer rushed the ring to make the save. Pushing Destroyer aside, Albano used a lit cigar to burn Spoiler several times. Before Destroyer truly understood what was happening, Albano left the ring and Spoiler was writhing in pain. <Spoiler injured for 2 cards.> -- Tokens: Albano 1
JIMMY VALIANT def. Pampero Firpo (w/ Adrian Street) via DQ at 7:10. - Firpo was disqualified when he crotched Jimmy V across the metal guardrail during a wild brawl outside the ring. Although he was awarded a technical decision, this was not the kind of finish that Jimmy V had hoped for his debut. Street laughed like a maniac as he encouraged Firpo to deliver a few farewell kicks to his victim. -- Tokens: JimmyV 1 - Firpo 1
SHEEPHERDERS: BUTCH MILLER & LUKE WILLIAMS def. Billy Red Lyons & Johnny Saint via pinfall at 3:26. - Sheepherders finished Saint with a DOUBLE GUTBUSTER. Miller and Williams relied on sneaky teamwork and some vicious brawling tactics outside the ring to maintain control for the majority of this contest. -- Tokens: Williams 1 - Saint 1
RED BASTIEN & THE CRUSHER def. Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens via pinfall at 19:43. - Bastien finished Bockwinkel with an ATOMIC DROP. The former LCW Universal Tag Team Champions, Bockwinkel and Stevens, were seeking the path of least resistance towards a title rematch. Bastien and Crusher wanted to capitalize on their momentum after being on the winning side of the last card's main event. The advantage changed hands fast and often as both teams played to their own strengths. With only seconds remaining before the time limit expired, Crusher made a slick tag and Bastien caught Bockwinkel off guard with a rapid fire combination. -- Tokens: Bastien 1, Crusher 3 - Bockwinkel 1, Stevens 2
BUDDY ROGERS def. The Destroyer via submission at 2:48. - Rogers finished Destroyer with a FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. After witnessing Lou Albano's disturbing post-match assault against The Spoiler earlier on the show, Destroyer appeared somewhat preoccupied and his performance suffered as a result. Rogers had no moral issues with exploiting the situation in order to pick up his second straight victory. -- Tokens: Destroyer 2
HARLEY RACE & LARRY HENNIG def. Abdullah the Butcher & Bull Curry via pinfall at 9:18. - Race finished Curry with a backbreaker. Abdullah and Curry experienced a lot of success during the previous tour, leading to this non-title match against the LCW Universal Tag Teeam Champions. Having just reclaimed the belts on the last card, Race and Hennig continued to function like a cohesive unit as they prevented Abdullah and Curry from turning this fight into a hardcore affair. -- Tokens: Hennig 2 - Abdullah 1, Curry 2
IVAN KOLOFF def. Lou Thesz via count-out at 9:20. - Thesz was counted out after Koloff delivered a Russian backbreaker on the apron and he dropped to the concrete floor. This rubber match was supposed to determine which of these two competitors would leap to the top of the rankings. A surprise appearance by Buddy Rogers ruined an otherwise top notch encounter. Rogers started to taunt Thesz which prevented him from beating the referee's count back into the ring. Koloff was not satisfied with the finish and stated that he wanted one more encounter with Thesz. It was announced that Koloff, Thesz and Rogers would compete in a Triple Threat match on the next show with the winner being declared number one contender for the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship. -- Tokens: Koloff 1 - Thesz 3
- Steel Cage - PCW Universal Heavyweight Championship Match KILLER KOWALSKI def. Johnny Valentine via pinfall at 18:02. - Kowalski finished Valentine with a jumping knee drop. The heat between the former and current LCW Universal Heavyweight Champions had reached a fever pitch and needed to be settled inside a cage. Both men were holding their own until Kowalski executed a high angle body drop that sent Valentine crashing into the cage, busting him wide open. The blood impaired Valentine's vision at a critical moment, allowing Kowalski to gain firm control of the match. -- Tokens: Kowalski 1 - Valentine 4 Killer Kowalski retained the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship for a successful version one title defense.

Nice to see Kowalski retain the gold. Red Crush takes a nice win. Looks like Bastien & The Crusher will be getting another crack at the gold... Was kinda hoping Abdullah & Curry would win their non-title match, but it just didn't happen. Kowalski actually has much better stats than they appear at first glance... Combined with his higher than average DQ rating, it might be really tough to dethrone him... Which suits me just fine because he has always been one of my sleeper favorites. Pleased that you're enjoying the ride, my friend... Onward and upward!

nice last-second win for Red Bastien and The Crusher in their victory over Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens! Gotta love it when the drama builds like that... A big win over the former tag champs has moved Red Crush (nicely named by TTX ) into the top contenders spot... I'm hoping that teams like the Vachons and the Sheepherders can move up the ranks because it would be great to add a few dedicated teams to the title picture... Truly appreciate you taking the time to check out the action, my friend... Many thanks!

Great card. Like others, I'm a fan of that Crusher/Bastien vs. Stevens/Bockwinkel match - fun stuff.
Loved the Koloff/Thesz fallout and looking forward to that Triple Threat.
Kowalski cannot be stopped or at the very least has Valentine's number.
Something tells me the Spoiler will make Albano regret his actions, but maybe the Sicilian has enough protection around him that Jardine won't get the chance...

I must admit the Albano / Spoiler / Destroyer situation is gradually taking on a life of its own... Really starting to enjoy rolling on the feud table (whenever a match ends in snake eyes) and finding unique ways to explain the outcomes... One thing is for certain - The Sicilian does not want to find himself at a sudden disadvantage in his dealings and I've gotta feeling he is making arrangements to prevent such a thing from happening. Kowalski proved himself against JV... Koloff, Thesz or Rogers - Who will become the number one contender? Always appreciate the awesome feedback, my friend... Many thanks!

LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
True Believers Tour (card #16) 01.May.26 - Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, MI
BILL WHITE def. J.J. Dillon via DQ at 2:28. - Dillon was disqualified when he slammed White through a ringside table. Unable to land any meaningful offense inside the ring, Dillon took the fight to the floor and made a desperation move that resulted in the referee awarding White a technical decision. It was later announced that these two men would face off again on the next card as part of a tag team match in which both would be paired with newcomers to the roster. -- Tokens: Dillon 3
JACKIE FARGO def. Mike DiBiase via pinfall at 2:48. - Fargo finished DiBiase with a counter powerslam to an attempted high risk move. Although he did not display his usual desire to cause excessive bodily harm, Fargo kept up the pressure until DiBiase made a critical mistake. When Fargo was asked about the recent success of his known ally and LCW Universal Heavyweight Champion, Killer Kowalski, he refused to comment. -- Tokens: DiBiase 1
LOU ALBANO def. Billy Red Lyons via pinfall at 2:13. - Albano finished Lyons with a SICILIAN SLAM. Having recently become a target of serious scrutiny when he used a lit cigar to injure The Spoiler on the last card, Albano showed no signs of remorse as he used a few underhanded tricks to score an upset. When Albano drew a cigar from his coat pocket after the bell, The Destroyer rushed the ring to question his motives. Albano regarded Destroyer with disgust and told him to mind his own business before exiting the ring. -- Tokens: n/a
ADRIAN STREET (w/ Pampero Firpo) def. Jimmy Valiant via pinfall at 5:01. - Street finished Jimmy V with a CRUCIFIX. Ruthless interference by Street led to Jimmy V defeating Firpo via disqualification on the last card. That outcome did not sit well with Jimmy V and he aimed to make Street regret the intrusion. With Firpo stomping around ringside, Jimmy V had difficulty remaining focused and Street employed a well devised hit and run strategy to maintain the advantage. For an instant it appeared that Firpo might attack Jimmy V after the bell, but Street held him back when the referee threatened to reverse his decision. -- Tokens: JimmyV 2
SHEEPHERDERS: BUTCH MILLER & LUKE WILLIAMS def. The Destroyer & Tiger Conway Sr. via DQ at 13:34. - Destroyer was disqualified when he accidentally bumped the referee. Both teams displayed exceptional teamwork, but the situation turned ugly when Lou Albano showed up at ringside to confront Destroyer for getting involved in his business earlier on the card. Albano caused further problems when a wild brawl erupted outside the ring by nudging the referee directly into the line of fire. With his eyes focused on his opponents, Destroyer struck the referee without even realizing he was there. -- Tokens: Williams 2 - Destroyer 1, Conway 2
RAY STEVENS (w/ Nick Bockwinkel) def. Johnny Valentine via pinfall at 9:24. - Stevens finished Valentine with a BOMBS AWAY. This contest was originally scheduled to be a rematch between Valentine and Bockwinkel. The two had not met in singles competition since Valentine successfully defended the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship against Bockwinkel by way of a count-out. However, Bockwinkel showed up with a minor injury and Stevens volunteered to serve as a replacement. Despite the wicked punishment he endured in his Steel Cage title rematch against Killer Kowalski on the last card, Valentine was firing on all cylinders. Stevens gained control by stunning Valentine with a low blow while Bockwinkel distracted the referee. -- Tokens: Stevens 2 - Valentine 3
LCW Universal Tag Team Championship Match HARLEY RACE & LARRY HENNIG def. Red Bastien & The Crusher via pinfall at 6:36. - Hennig finished Bastien <snake eyes> with THE AXE. Bastien and Crusher earned this title shot by defeating the former LCW Universal Tag Team Champions, Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens, on the last card. They nearly made the most of the opportunity by cutting the ring in half and isolating Race for a good portion of the match. Race managed to fight his way out of trouble and make a hot tag to Hennig, who came in and cleaned house. Before Race had time to fully recover, the Sheepherders charged from the back and pounced on Hennig after the bell. Bastien and Crusher made the save before any real harm was done. Making a slow retreat, the Sheepherders shouted that they only came to this forsaken country to prove they were the toughest tag team in the world. -- Tokens: Race 5 - Bastien 2 Harley Race & Larry Hennig retained the LCW Universal Tag Team Championship for a successful version one title defense.
Triple Threat Match Ivan Koloff vs. Lou Thesz vs. Buddy Rogers resulted in a no contest. - This highly anticipated encounter was going to determine the number one contender for the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship, currently held by Killer Kowalski. As Thesz approached the ring, he was jumped by Ox Baker. The crowd gasped as Baker repeatedly struck Thesz with a steel chair before picking him up and delivering a HEART PUNCH. Security flooded the area, hauling Baker away from ringside. Thesz required medical attention and would not be able to compete. Rogers raised his arms, stating it was obvious that he should be granted a title shot. Koloff whipped him around and laid into him with a Russian Hammer. The referee took that as his cue to start the match.
IVAN KOLOFF def. Buddy Rogers via pinfall at 4:33. - Koloff finished Rogers with a leg drop. Rogers offered some formidable resistance, but could not bounce back from the preemptive strike that had knocked him flat before the opening bell. With a triumphant howl, Koloff secured himself a shot at the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship. -- Tokens: Rogers 3
