Sooner State Wrestling Stockyards Coliseum - 02/04/22 (Card #80)
Oklahoma City, OK
George Hackenschmidt won over Dick Hutton with the RUSSIAN BEARHUG (****) * - This was an OUTSTANDING opener for the first card at the Stockyards. Both men gave the fans are clinic on wrestling and a showcase on what to expect from the Heritage Title division. After 20+ minutes Hackenschmidt managed to lock on the Bearhug on the fatigued Hutton. Valiant battle from both men!
Sputnik Monroe pinned Danny Hodge after the FLYING KNEE DROP (**) * - Hodge gave the fans an exciting match but tonight "The Cadillac Man" was victorious.
** HERITAGE TITLE MATCH - Open Challenge** "The Nebraska Tiger Man" John Pesek made Johnny Valentine(c) submit to the TIGER MAN TOEHOLD to win the title (***)
* - Valentine's open challenge was met by the newcomer to Sooner State. Pesek kept Valentine on the defensive for the majority of the match, wearing him down before locking on his dreaded submission hold. Pesek will be one to watch for sure!
** OKLAHOMA TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH ** The Road Warriors(c) clobbered B.G. James & Tracy Smothers to retain the titles after Animal pinned Smothers after the flying should block (*) * - Typical Animal and Hawk match as the challengers were just mauled like wounded prey which pleased this crowd!
** NORTH AMERICAN TITLE MATCH ** Magnum T.A. BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEXED "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert quickly to retain the title (Squash)
* - Gilbert was caught quickly by surprise and it was over just as quickly as it started. Mr. Hughes was not around tonight to make the save!
"Dr. Death" Steve Williams thrashed AWA World Champion "Wildfire" Tommy Rich in quick order after a BACKDROP DRIVER followed by a press slam (*1/2)
* - Although the title was not on the line (as Sooner State does not recognize the title) Williams made his point in sheer brutality giving Rich a receipt for the chair shot a couple cards back. The fans were satisfied at least.

WKY-TV TAPING 02//5/22 (Card #081)
WKY-TV STUDIO with "3-D" Danny Williams & Gordon Solie
Oklahoma City, OK
Thunderbolt Patterson pinned George South after the HEADBUTT (Squash) * - After the match T-Bolt stopped by Gordon Solie's podium for a post match interview. The interview was cut very short by Ox Baker ranting about how he was going to destroy Patterson Monday night in Tulsa. Solie cut Baker off which enraged the big man. He grabbed Solie by the collar which prompted T-Bolt to make the save! Both men brawled to the back area and outside the building!
Dutch Savage won by disqualification over Frank Dalton (Dud) * - This match was cut short when newcomer to the area "Lightning" Rod Fenton stormed the ring and attacked Savage! Savage fought back before OKCPD came in to break things up. These two will meet Monday night in Tulsa with Savage's Brass Knucks Title on the line!
Les Thatcher made "Iron" Mike DiBiase submit to the STUMP PULLER (*) * - Thatcher continues to impress here in Sooner State and looks like he could be a legitimate threat to Danny Hodge's Light Heavyweight Title. It should be mentioned that DiBiase is by no means a slouch!
Gordon Solie stopped Magnum T.A. and Steve Williams on their way to the ring to face Eddie Gilbert & Mr. Hughes. Hughes thought it would be a good idea to try and sneak attack Magnum with Gilbert's cane. Doc pulled Magnum out of the way and Hughes nailed GILBERT!!! Magnum tossed Gilbert into the ring as Williams and Hughes brawled on the floor!
Magnum T.A. & Steve Williams beat Eddie Gilbert & Mr. Hughes after Magnum & Doc hit Hughes with a double football tackle! * - Wild action in the main event! Early in the match Magnum came off the top rope but Gilbert pulled the referee into the flight path. The match continued for a couple minutes without a ref but this did nothing to deter Magnum & Doc from taking a fight to Gilbert and his Bodyguard!

GREAT PLAINS COLISEUM (02/05/22) (Card #082) Lawton, OK
Dick Hutton made George Hackenschmidt submit to the ABDOMINAL STRETCH (**)
* - Once again these two athletes trade victories as tonight it's Hutton who is once again victorious. This match wasnt as good as the night before in OKC but it was still great none the less. The crowd was definitely into it and were pleased to see a Home State boy take the victory!
Johnny Valentine pinned "Iron" Mike DiBiase after a Big Chop To The Chest (***) * - Spectacular match from these two. DiBiase gave Valentine plenty of headaches in this encounter but Valentine scores a victory on his way out of the territory.
Sputnik Monroe pinned Danny Hodge after a running shoulder charge (* 1/2) * - Once again Monroe gets the best of Hodge much to the crowd's chagrin. Hodge may want to think about fighting fire with fire against "The Cadillac Man".
** OKLAHOMA TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH ** The Road Warriors(c) defeat B.G. James & Tracy Smothers via DQ (1/2 *) * - This match was over quickly as soon as it spilled outside. Smothers waffles Hawk with a chair promoting the DQ. The crowd was shocked when The Gilberts stormed the ringside area! Doug KO'ed Paul Ellering as Eddie and B.G. James ambushed Animal! Animal ended up getting laid out with a chair by Gilbert! Eddie then laid Animal's arm over the ringside steps and held it there as B.G. James smashed it over Animal's arm twice!!! Finally several people from the back ran off The Gilberts, James, & Smothers before more damage could be done. Animal was removed via stretcher.
Magnum T.A. beat "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert via disqualification (*)
* - Magnum was on his way to another pinfall over Gilbert when this time Mr. Hughes gets involved and nails Magnum in the back with a chair and the referee caught it.

MCNULTY PARK (02/07/22) (Card #83) Tulsa, OK
** BRASS KNUCKS TITLE MATCH ** Dutch Savage(c) pinned "Lightning" Rod Fenton after the RUNNING PILEDRIVER (1/2 *) * - Memo to Mr. Fenton... dont piss off Dutch Savage!
Sputnik Monroe pinned Danny Hodge after the FLYING KNEE DROP (**) * - 3 in a row for The Cadillac Man. Interesting note that the crowd cheered both men!
Doug Gilbert & Tracy Smothers defeated Ranger Ross & Brickhouse Brown when Gilbert pinned Ross after the PILEDRIVER (*)
* - Eddie Gilbert and B.G. James are notably absent after their attack on The Road Warriors Saturday night in Lawton. Not much to report in this match other than the crowd HATES Smothers with a passion!
"Dr. Death" Steve Williams got a pinfall victory over Mr. Hughes via a belly to belly suplex (1/2 *) * - Although the crowd loves Doc they cant help to be disappointed in this encounter. Williams tore through Hughes like paper.
Thunderbolt Patterson puts Ox Baker down with the HEADBUTT (* 1/2) * - May not have been the best match but the crowd still ate up T-Bolt's antics and playfully(?) announcing himself "King of T-Town". Seems like the Tulsa fans are fine with that as they erupted when T-Bolt hit the Headbutt and Baker hit the mat!

In Lawton, OK Road Warrior Animal suffered a broken arm due to the actions of Eddie Gilbert and B.G. James. Animal will be out at least 6 weeks. Unfortunately we will have to vacate the Oklahoma Tag Team Titles. On Friday 02/11, at the Stockyards Coliseum in Oklahoma City we will begin the 1st round of a tournament for the vacated titles. Participating teams will be announced in the next couple of days.
Furthermore I have suspended Eddie Gilbert and B.G. James for two weeks.
