We are right around the corner from In Your House PPV to be held at Madison Square Garden!
Last month Curt Hennig won a contenders battle royal to get a shot at Titan Champion Lou Thesz at the IYH. Heenan has sent King Kong Bundy to soften up the champ and Bundy has been largely successful. Two weeks ago in a tag match between Hennig & Bundy against Thesz & Savage on Saturday Night's Main Event, Bundy injured Thesz' back and ribs with a big splash as Thesz had Hennig pinned. With Savage unconscious outside thanks to Blackjack Mulligan Bundy rolled a flattened Thesz over and placed an equally squashed Hennig on top to give Hennig a pinfall victory over the champ. Hennig and Heenan have been gloating over it ever since to get under the champ's skin.
Last week Thesz took on Bundy in a singles match that caused even more damage to the champs back and ribs. Thesz got the victory even with the entire Heenan Family interfering. His victory cost even more with a post match beating. With only days to go before IYH will the champ be in any condition to defeat Mr. Perfect? Heenan says he will put just $10 in Hennig's hand to ensure that he will be the new Titan Champion when it's all said and done.
Another match scheduled for IYH will be Lou Albano and his team of Bruiser Costa & Synn Bodhi taking on the BWO in a no holds barred brawl! Albano feels disrespected by the Blue World Order and thinks they are a bunch of snot nose garbage wrestling kids. This is a battle of old school vs. a more extreme school.
The Quebecers will face The Fantastics in the Finals of the Titan Tag Team Title Tournament.
Bertha Faye will face Wendi Richter in the Finals of the Titan Womens Title Tournament.
And the MAIN EVENT at In Your House will see the NWA World Champion Nature Boy Buddy Rogers will defend against Bobo Brazil! This should be a great match to cap off a huge night of Titan Wrestling!

Next supercard on the horizon Clash Of The Champions is a couple weeks away and by the way things have been going in NWA Global lately it's shaping up to be a blood bath.
Sam Houston has challenged his former friend and tag partner Johnny Mantell to a Texas Death Match. Several weeks ago at SuperClash Showdown, Mantell turned on both Houston and Scott Casey after a 6 man tag man against Dillon Enterprises (Windham, Blanchard, & Bill Irwin). Mantell has since joined forces with Rock Riddle and The Texas Hangmen. This rivalry has been heated and bloody.
American Champion Pampero Firpo has had a rough time with The Russians ever since Firpo won the title from the Masked Superstar. WIth the Russians now having injured the wild Argentinian this feud can only get uglier. A very angry Bull has issued a challenge to the Russian Bear in a Russian Chain Match at Clash Of The Champions! The American title will be on the line! Will Firpo even the score or will Koloff bring the American title home to Mother Russia? One thing is certain... blood will be spilled!
The Texas Hangmen are undefeated in NWA Global and are next in line for a title shot against the current champions The Midnight Express... They look to be worthy contenders but have they bitten off more they can chew with their heinous assault on the Conway family? They had better focus on Eaton and Condrey as they are the top caliber tag team in the NWA right now. Will Rock Riddle be able to counter-act the shenanigans of Jim Cornette?
Magnum T.A. and Tully Blanchard will square off inside of a steel cage at the Clash. Commissioner Cox has grown tired of the DQs and interference from JJ Dillon and Co. Will these two be able to finally settle their score?

Seems kinda fitting that Rogers and Thesz have gold strapped around their respective waists... The Wild Bull of the Pampas is an interesting champion... How long can he hold onto that title just by getting himself disqualified? HA!
Hoping the Quebecers can teach the Fantastics a thing or two about law and order while becoming the Titan tag champs... TRUTH!

NWA Sunset Strip Report
Red Carpet Rumble - Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA
This was the opening night for the NWA Sunset Strip Territory! The night would see opening round of the Tag Team and Women's Title Tournaments capped off by the 30 Man Red Carpet Rumble to crown the first NWA Sunset Strip Champion!
The opening match saw The Canadian Ninjas and MSEERIE battle to a wild double disqualification when the action spilled outside the ring. These two teams will definitely be meeting again very soon!
In the Womens Title Tournament Opening Round:
Ruby Raze beat Courtney Rush by DQ when a frustrated Rush got carried away brawling outside the ring and shoving the ref
Athena defeated Melanie Cruise with an enzuigiri
Madison Rayne pinned Penelope Ford after the RAYNE CHECK
And in the BEST match of Round One Saraya Knight made Cheerleader Melissa submit to the KNIGHTMARE after a hard fought grueling bout that saw Melissa dominate the majority of the match. The tide of the match turned when the action spilled outside and Knight made a huge comeback and lock on her finisher... Melissa tried very hard to reach the ropes several times only to have Knight pull her back further away. Melissa finally succumbed to the intense pain.
In the Tag Team Title Tournament Opening Round:
The Young Bucks slipped past the Saints Of The Strip (Marty Janetty & Johnny Yuma) when Matt Jackson ducked a punch causing Janetty to deck the referee causing a DQ loss for the Saints
Los Banditos and The Tribe brawled to a double disqualification outside the ring
The Fantastics beat PPRay after a PRESS SLAM/SPLASH in an exciting back and forth tag team clinic
The Sheepherders defeated Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger via DQ when Liger nailed Butch with a steel chair... The Japanese stars are robbed as Liger returned the favor of Luke and Butch's actions... only to have it seen by the referee.

Way to go, Hobo! Those Rumbles are fun but can be exhausting. I'm sure Ricker will be looking to avenge that loss. The Ninjas and MSEERIE are a classic matchup for me. They tore the house down on multiple cards of my SHIMMER fed. It looks like that rivalry holds across feds and promoters. Looking forward to what's next from the tournament action and following along with your territory setup.
