WILD WEST WRESTLING TAPING (Card#87) CAIN'S BALLROOM, TULSA OK ** - Televised Matches** Mae Young made Sweet Georgia Brown submit to a cross-over kneelock
* - Excellent opener with the women! This match went a full 15 minutes of back and forth wrestling! Although the crowd was firmly behind Brown, Young didnt seem to care and went in with everything she had to get the victory** LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Danny Hodge(c) made "Iron" Mike DiBiase via Boston Crab
* - Hodge has had troubles with Sputnik Monroe lately but tonight things finally went his way as he wrestled a great match with DiBiase and after 10 mins put him away with a submission** OKLAHOMA TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNY MATCH ROUND ONE
Tiger Conway Jr. & Thunderbolt Patterson advance over Doug Gilbert & Tracy Smothers when Conway pinned Smothers after the FLYING HEADBUTT
* - Smothers caught off guard quickly by Conway... so fast Gilbert didnt have time to react to make the save! Luckily for Patterson he didnt even have to get in the ring allowing him to rest before his Stretcher Match with Baker later on the card!NO DQ
Road Warrior Hawk pinned Mr. Hughes after a vertical suplex
* - A repeat of the beating Hughes received in Lawton. This match of course was untelevised.STRETCHER MATCH
Ox Baker beat Thunderbolt Patterson after a big splash off the top rope to the floor and placing T-Bolt on the stretcher!
* - This match was untelevised for good reason! Both men beat the snot out of each other and both ended up wearing the proverbial crimson mask. The crowd ERUPTED when the self-proclaimed "King of T-Town" hit the HEADBUTT on Baker! Baker looked to be out of it and Patterson attempted to get him to the stretcher... unfortunately for T-Bolt and the fans Baker recovered and leveled T-Bolt with a lariat! Baker then shocked everyone by climbing to the top rope and giving a big splash on Patterson on the concrete floor! Baker dragged T-Bolt to the stretcher and he was hauled off much to the dismay of the Tulsa crowd. T-Bolt's ribs have sufferec a 2 card injury. Will he be able to continue to compete in the Oklahoma Tag Title Tourny with his partner Tiger Conway Jr?** NORTH AMERICAN TITLE MATCHMagnum T.A. successfully defended the title against Redd Dogg with the BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX in a hard fought match!* - What a match the Tulsa fans were treated to. Redd Dogg gave Magnum one of his toughest challenges to date. At a couple points in the match it looked as if Redd Dogg was going to take the gold but in the end Magnum hangs on and perseveres to hit the BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX at the 20 minute mark to retain. Instant Classic! |

The Fantastic OX BAKER.....just won my INTER-STATE CHAMPIONSHIP...and is ruling the Sooner State....and how 'bout dem Irwin Boys!!!!whoop!....whoop!....great stuff.....Hutton not so much!!....lol.
