I agree that time could be a factor working against this. While I adjust my thinking hat (and yes - i really do have a thinking hat!), can anyone think of ideas that would shorten the length of time needed to play this event? Off the tips of my horns (again, you have to see the hat), I can only think about just doing the tag team aspect of that tournament.
Also, I agree with where this tournament should fall in the grand scheme of things. Wherever it is needed. That's where it goes. I would love to add to the flavor of both Galaticon and Legends of Wrestling, but more than that, I want people to have some fun!

The hat rules.
Honestly, even with all the time given to the tourneys (let's face it, it's mostly tourneys all day), I still wonder if we can squeeze it all in. We pretty much have a time limit of one hour for each tourney. Not bad if it's say 8 people, but if we do a 32 or 64 (AKA Canada cup tourney), that's gonna be a squeeze. I may skip the comic tourney depending on how things work out. I have little desire to be battling for the IP title...which will probably be a one on one match between the comic winner and Kevin's hardcore winner anyways)

My guess is that the tournaments will go off every 30 minutes during each session, so that there is not much down time between each event. Knowing in the block of time that we may not get through the whole tournament and may have to finish up the later rounds later in the tournament time block. This should make it so folks aren't bored and those that are knocked out early can go record voices with Mark.

Whatever I can do to help, it is done. Galacticon is my favorite time of the year. It's like Christmas with dice, turnbuckles and sloppy joes!

Looks like we have a deadlock for the last tournament spot. Rather that exclude a tournament, we'll adjust the layout. On Sunday morning, we'll have 2 "play-in" matches to fill in the last 2 spots. The winners of the GWFZ, LOTF, All-time GWF, and Interplanetary Title Tournaments will compete before the Canada Cup.
As of now the Interplanetary Title qualifiers will be: Friday Night Perennial Comic Bokk Shop Tourney Kevin W's Hardcore tourney
Mr. Jimmyface, Tom Tutwiler, and Jack D have all expressed interest in running tournaments as well. We'll see which ones come to fruition.

Just curious here-why is it that the comic book tournament, the Friday night perrenial and of course my hardcore tournament, have been moved to qualfiying for this new tournament and not remained part of the GCup qualifier?
