It's the best time of the year! December releases for Filsinger Games have hit. All three major product lines get something unique - from the fantastic Legends Expansion featuring Dynamite Kid, Adrian Adonis, and Gordon Solie - to name a few - to the Women of the Indies 2020 pack and the mammoth Battle Lines: Kronos set; I’ve got Todd Joerchel, Mike Melesky, and Battle Lines maestro, Rob Beaubien to chat about all the details of the latest and greatest. Rob gives a deep dive into the set’s creation, and we zero in on some of the newest and coolest characters to hit Kronos. Plus, there are some great teases for what's next, including the January virtual con - will you be the promoter to give us a name for what could be a new annual event? WebApple PodcastsSpotify

Listening to how Battlelines came about was interesting and how Rob and Mike talked about “I wanted this guy/team and was willing to trade this guy/team...” Kinda surprised Tom shot down the idea of bringing Nosfera and Omen to Kronos...wonder if Tom still has plans for him. Suggestion for the get together...I was thinking Conclave of Champions or... Conclave of the Six (the six represents LOW, GWF, CWF, Kronos, Indies, and Women)... plus it makes it sound all mysterious and there can be conspiracies popping up.

Finished the latest Uncharted Territory & I've just started this one. Haven't got the new sets yet but already super excited to hear more about the next indie set being teased at the beginning!

I paused when it was time for Final Battle to start, but so far I am 51 minutes into this episode and it is really good.
As Tournament Master said, here in Las Vegas I am indeed friends with Willie Mack as me and his girlfriend Ofi go to alot of shows together as we like the same music. With my Quarter 4 order that I got on Thursday night, I received a stack of Willie Mack's updated card to give to him which I think might be tomorrow/Saturday night.

I listened to the rest of this podcast tonight. I apologize for putting this show on pause at first as I reluctantly had to stop it at the 51 minute mark. If FITE was more like the WWE Network where I could start a show in progress from the beginning instead of either first having to wait until the show ends or just joining the show in progress and missing the first half, I would not have temporarily left this podcast to go to Final Battle. But I resumed this podcast almost immediately after Final Battle and I continued to really enjoy it. Sam does a great job with these podcasts.
I liked hearing Rob talk about the new Battle Lines set (I just got it in the mail last night.) I am not a big COTG expert but I cannot wait to play this new set. I especially really liked how Rob described Dreggs as just looking for 1 more win.
At the end I was also really interested in hearing Mike say he has notes for the next Future Shock set on his desk. I like all the COTG sets but the Future Shock sets are my personal favorite. Hopefully there will be a new tag team to challenge Fraternity as I am on Show #20 and they have held my ROC Tag Team Championship since Show #2.
From what I understood on the podcast, it sounds like Sam will soon be talking to Tim Hornbaker. Last night I just got Hornbaker's new book about Buddy Rogers (it arrived alongside the Filsigner Games Q4 releases.) I will try to read the book first before Sam's podcast with Hornbaker happens.
Looking forward to the next show!

Another great show! I loved hearing the creative process behind Battle Lines. I really enjoy the alternate universe type takes on COTG guys. I think it's the DC Multiverse fan in me. Looking forward to your discussion with Tim Hornbaker. I've chatted with him on Twitter, but I don't know if I've ever heard him on a podcast. Thanks Sam! You knocked another one out of the park!

Really enjoyed my time on the show. Thanks again Sam Fain for the invite! After listening to it myself, I especially enjoyed your take on Cosmos, and how Cosmos wasn’t a villain, it was circumstances that led him to become Thantos. Great hearing your interpretations on the set and great talking about all of the new releases with the crew. Really excited about VCon in January.
