Cool fed....love the mix of talent on show here. Reminds me, I’d love an Italian Stallion card! Thanks! I went deep into the card Library here over the holidays and found him. Lot of great work done and posted in the Library. Stallion, Tough Tom and Mean Mike will be regulars, for sure.

MCW Lexington, KY
Show 5
Dark match: D-Lo Brown def. Sam Houston with the Lo-Down *
Quick Results
1. Finlay w/ Ivan Koloff def. Brad Armstrong ** 2. Hugh Morrus def. Koko B Ware (squash) 3. Val Venis def. Mario Mancini * 4. Tully Blanchard def. Masked Superstar ** 5. MCW Champion Curt Hennig and Magnum TA def. Ted Dibiase and Bruiser Brody ***
Notes, Interviews, and Backstage
-Finlay wins after a hard scoop slam. Ivan jumps in the ring and tells Stallion to prepare for the worst, to prepare his children for when daddy doesn't come home! This brings out an enraged Stallion who runs to the ring, but Ivan and Finlay clear out.
-We see Cornette backstage talking to Bruiser Brody as Brody stomps around in circles and pulls his hair out. What is Cornette up to?
-Hugh Morrus def. newcomer Koko B Ware in a squash after No Laughing Matter. Morrus is undefeated in MCW action.
-Val Venis gets a much-needed win after hitting the Money Shot on Mancini, who was simply overmatched.
-Gordon Solie tells us that British Bulldog has left MCW to pursue other ventures, as he and the company could not come to a contract agreement after only working on a handshake deal.
-Blanchard defeats Superstar with the Slingshot Suplex. After the match, Dibiase jumps Blanchard, which causes Magnum TA to run out for the save. This brings out Hennig and Brody running in and causing more chaos as we start the main event tag!
-In a crazy ending, Hennig pins his upcoming challenger, Brody, after a Hennig Plex! Chaos ensues as Superstar, Tully, and Windham join back in the melee. The babyfaces have the advantage, then out from nowhere, The Allmighty Warlord attacks Magnum from behind! Superstar, Dibiase, Brody, and Warlord are all over the opponents, and they leave Magnum and Henning in a pool of blood to end the show!!!!

Dirty Sheets by Dave Meltzer
1. As Gordon Solie stated during the last show, Davey Boy Smith is out of MCW. Not all talent is under contract at this time, as the thought is this allows flexibility from both sides during the infancy of MCW, so neither feels "stuck" with the other if the relationship isn't working. We know of at least 2 other main eventers that arent under contract as of right now, also.
2. Nikita Koloff is another who has quickly exited MCW also. He wasn't thrilled with the storyline of being the "enforcer type" for Ivan. The thought process now is Ivan will lead a younger, foreign stable of wrestlers.
3.Barry Windham is out, selling his shoulder injury from show one. He will return at the PPV.
4.Dynamite Kid will probably debut against Brad Armstrong at the PPV. The hope is that even though he may be viewed as undersized, he will quickly work his way into the main event scene. Dynamite Kid did sign a multi-year deal, as Black Jack Mulligan handles contract negotiations.

MCW Duluth, GA
Show 6
Dark match: Pitbull #1 def. Kip James via Super Bomb
Quick Results
1. Iron Mike Sharpe def. Italian Stallion w/Iron Bomber * 2. Brad Armstrong def. Disco Inferno w/Russian Leg Sweep*** 3. Ivan Koloff w/Finlay def. Marty Jannetty w/Russian Sickle** 4. Bruiser Brody def. D-Lo Brown w/Jumping Knee Drop*
***Match Notes, Interviews, and Backstage***
-Show starts with clips of Brody being pinned by MCW Champion Curt Hennig in the last show's main event. We see Brody pacing until he walks off w/Jim Cornette.
-Iron Mike Sharpe debuts and gets the victory over Stallion. Stallion grabs the mic and says even though he suffered the loss, he will still beat Finlay at the PPV. Koloff and Finlay show up on the ramp and laugh and belittle Stallion.
-Armstrong defeats Disco and it is confirmed that Armstrong will face a debuting Dynamite Kid at the PPV.
-Koloff def. Jannetty. Post-match, Ivan and Finlay attack Marty until Stallion runs out for the save. It will now be Marty and Stallion vs Finlay and Koloff at the PPV.
-Brody destroys D-Lo. Post-match, both Cornette and Bobby Heenan come out to congratulate and argue who is managing Brody.
***Final show segment***
Tully, Barry, and Magnum are in the middle of the ring. They invite the MCW Curt Hennig to join them. Loud crowd pop for Heenig as he enters the ring.
Tully: Week after week, it seems your business becomes our business. We are all in this for the accolades, and the dollars, and the most dollars come from being around that MCW Championship. The four of us, we could run not just this promotion, but the entire industry.
Hennig: I hear what you're saying Tully, and I see what those stooges Cornette and Heenan, are trying to do. You are trying to jump on a sinking ship with Brody. I pinned him last week in this very ring. Now, he's even more unstable than he was before, and neither one of those goofs is going to help him dethrone me at the PPV.
Ted Dibiase comes out with Masked Superstar and The Warlord to ringside.
Ted: Curt, I highly doubt you could beat Brody two times in a row, and the rest of you, especially you Barry, with that bum shoulder, are going to be in a world of hurt at the PPV,especially when I debut our tag team partner for that 6 man.
Magnum: Yea we know, Warlord is your partner, no surprise there.
Ted: Warlord IS my mercenary, but not my partner in the 6 man tag.
Warlord and Superstar head to the sides of the ring with chairs. Suddenly, Bob Roop comes from out of nowhere and hits Barry Windham with a chair on his injured shoulder! Dibiase is exchanging blows with Hennig, then hits a low blow on the champion! Warlord, Superstar and Roop lay waste to Tully, Magnum and Barry with chair shots, as Brody runs to the ring with Heenan and Cornette behind him, he hits running knee drop on the champion, as Roop hits Barry with a shoulder breaker!!! Cornette and Heenan both raise the hands of Brody as we go off the air!!!

Dirty Sheets by Dave Meltzer
On the look and the current shape of the roster, the feeling is they are going for more of old school philosophy while working in the younger part of the roster, like Brad Armstrong, Hugh Morrus, Val Venis, and others. Flexibility is key, as only core roster members have contracts, while others they are taking a wait-and-see approach.
Management is very high on the debut of The Dynamite Kid. He will face some junior heavyweight opponents to begin with, but he will be vaulted into the main event -scene soon. The thinking is that they need Dynamite's youth and speed in a fed that is mostly aging out.
They also seem to be high on the future of The Warlord, but as of now, he will act as muscle for Ted Dibiase.
Kip James, The Pitbulls and D-Lo Brown are all on the radar and will be used as lower card talent with chances to improve their standing in the company.
