Gordon Solie: We are live in Raleigh, North Carolina, and welcome to MCW!!!!! Let's go to the ring for the debut of The Dynamite Kid!


1. Dynamite Kid vs Brad Armstrong.

The debut of Dynamite Kid gets a strong reaction after the spectacular cinematic entrance that nearly killed the MCW budget! The crowd is hot for both babyfaces, as Armstrong is a regional favorite.
A much closer match than anticipated bout, Kid hit a beautiful snap suplex to pick up the win. Kid raises Armstrongs hand post-match.

Winner: Dynamite Kid, 7 minutes **

-Backstage we see Brody sitting in a chair, in near dark, as you can only see his face. Brody: Tonight i fight Curt Hennig for the MCW championship. You may have beat me once, but that will never happen again. And i need no man, no manager, in my corner to make that happen!

2. D-Lo Brown vs Kip James

We see match-maker Bobo Brazil walk down to ringside for this match. After a hard fought match, we see D-Lo hit the LO DOWN on James for the win! Brazil goes into the ring to hand D-Lo a full time contract!!!!

Winner: D-Lo Brown, in 5 minutes **

-Solie announces that Marty Jannetty is not here tonight, so the original tag match wil revert back to a singles match of Finlay vs Italian Stallion.

3. Finlay w/Ivan Koloff vs Italian Stallion

Finlay makes quick work of Stallion after hitting the Tombstone Piledriver. After the match, we see Ivan go under the ring, to pull out a plate of meatballs!!!  Finlay throws Stallion out of the ring, they shove them down Stallions throat, then Finlay covers Stallion in marinara sauce!!!!

Winner: Finlay, in 3 minutes *


4. Bob Roop, Masked Superstar and Ted Dibiase vs Tully Blanchard, Magnum TA and Barry Windham

Superstar catches Windham with a chair shot on the outside to pick up the DQ, you have to figure this really extends this fued even more.

Winners: Barry, Tully and Magnum TA, via DQ in 11 minutes ***


We see a video replay of Hennig pinning Brody a few weeks prior, and both Heenan and Cornette offering their services to Brody. 

5. Curt Hennig vs Bruiser Brody for the MCW Championship

After going back and forth and almost getting DQ'd a few times for fighting out of the ring, Brody finishes Hennig with Jumping Knee Drop to become the second MCW Champion.

Winner: AND NEW MCW Champion, Bruiser Brody!!!! ***


What's this??? The Barbarian attacks Brody from behind with a steel chair!!! We see Booby Heenan walking to the ring laughing, he gets in the ring, and tells Brody he should've chose him!
Barbarian and Heenan stand over Brody as we go off the air.

Dirty Sheets by Dave Meltzer

1. Marty Jannetty was indeed a no show at the PPV. Management at this time has not made a move one way or the other, as they have not spoken to him.

2. Management doesn't really feel like anything really popped the crowd on the card, outside of the debut of Dynamite Kid. Brody winning the title fell flat, as well as the debut of The Barbarian.

3. The mentality of group warfare may start to get scaled-down, for a more singular focus on wrestlers, instead of groups.

4. With that said, a future War Games match may be nixed.

5. Management is high on Adrain Adonis, and the next 5 shows of TV taping will mature heavily Adonis, Dynamite Kid, Hugh Morrus, D-Lo Brown, and The Pitbulls. This could already lead to a soft "reboot" of MCW.

6. Curt Hennig will be the first in line to challenge Brody. Will probably be in a gimmick match setting.

Show opens cold as Curt Hennig, the former MCW Champion, stands on the entrance ramp with a microphone.

Hennig: Brody, you may have bested me at the PPV last night, but i am envoking my rematch clause, here tonight for the MCW title, you and i tonight, in a steel cage!

Gordon Solie: I've just received an update, that yes, Curt Henning will receive his rematch for the MCW Championship, tonight, in a steel cage vs the champion, Bruiser Brody! Also,
tonight, we see Adrian Adonis, Hugh Morrus, The Quebecers and more in action! Lets head ringside for the first match!


D-Lo Brown vs Adrian Adonis

This is a rematch from the pre-show of the PPV. D-Lo starts off hot bouncing out of the corner and hitting a huge clothesline, then right to the LO DOWN for a pin attempt that Adonis barely kicks out off. A second LO DOWN does not get the job done but Adonis in major trouble early. A 3rd Lo Down in a row picks up D-Lo what Solie considers an upset, and could be the win that D-Lo needs to push towards the top-tier. 

Winner: D-Lo Brown

Note: 3 Lo-Downs rolled in a row, i wonder if roll a die got stuck on 6, lol

-Backstage, we see Disco Inferno chase down Val Venis for a chat. 
 
 Disco: Hey Val, we have our match with The Quebecers tonight. We need every win we can get! At the next PPV, MCW is crowning it's first ever tag champs, i want it to be us that they crown!
 Val: No doubt, let's do this, the Big Valbowski is in it, to win it! When i say in it, i mean ALL the way in!!!
 Disco: Awesome, hey i've got us a team name, i think we are gonna move a lot of merch, just trust me, tag champs AND millionaires!

Hugh Morrus vs Joe Gomez

Gomez hits a Biel throw, which catches Morrus off guard, Morrus gains advantage outside of the ring, they get back in ring and Morrus hits a spinebuster for a nearfall. Gomez hits a running crossbody for a 2 count. Gomez misses a top rop manuever, and Morrus hits a second spinebuster to secure the quick victory.

Winner: Hugh Morrus

-Backstage, we see Jim Cornette, trying to recruit the Quebecers.

We come back from commercial, and Gordon Solie is in the ring with Danny Hodge!!! (The crowd erupts)
Solie: Well. Let's get down to business, Danny. Why are you here? Why now? Why MCW?
Hodge: Gordon, i'm here to face the best of the best, and that's why i'm here. Also....... Hodge is interrupted by....
Dynamite Kid: You want the best of the best? Look no further. 

We pan out with a visual of Kid and Hodge nose to nose, with Solie begging for everyone to stay calm.

-Backstage, we see Val and Disco again chatting.
 Val: Really, this is our team name? As Val stares at the front of a t-shirt. I mean even for me...
 Disco: Bro, trust me, it's gonna be gold!

We see a video of Tully Blanchard and Barry Windham at the beach, saying they have heard about the MCW tag titles, and that those would look good around their collective waists.

Quebecers vs :#TeamFuzzyHole


Val and Disco walk down in their teams new shirts, available exclusively on MCWrestling.com!!! 

Pierre and Val start off. Val tries a sunset flip, but Pierre sits down for a 2 count. Pierre hits a tough clothesline, Pierre eventually hits a cross body for another 2 count. Val gets the best of Pierre outside of the ring, they go back out and Pierre gains control now, he tags Jacques in for a double hot shot, Val connects with a boot in the corner, Jacques eventually takes control, he tags in Pierre, and they hit TOWER OF QUEBEC for the win! Disco is in disbelief as The Quebecers celebrate! Disco does help Val up to put the shirt back on him...

Winners: The Quebecers

We see highlights of the PPV while the ring is being set up. 


Steel Cage match for the MCW Championship: Bruiser Brody vs Curt Hennig

Brody grabs Hennig and flings him across the ring. Multiple stomps to Hennig and Brody catches a huge lariat! Hennig eventually reverses and hits a hip toss, Brody with multiple knife edge chops,Brody rubs his face into the cage, Hennig catches a sleeper on Brody, trying to slow the big man down, Hennig tries to leave but Brody pulls him back down from the cage. Hennig hits the Hennig Plex and this time Hennig climbs out the top as Brody is unable to catch Hennig on the way out. 

Winner and new MCW Champion: Curt Hennig


Both men are down in the ring, exhausted after the cage match. Wait what is this!! What is this! We see a knife cut up from the middle of the mat, a hand reaches up, it's Ted Dibiase! He's not alone!  The Warlord, and The Barbarian climb up through the mat with chairs!!!!  Chair shots for Brody and Hennig! Magnum tries to climb in but they wont let him, the referee on the outside, tries to open the door, but Masked Superstar knocks him out and takes the key and runs off! Dibiase wraps Hennigs leg in a chair and jumps off the second rope!!! Solie: My god you can hear bone pop!!!


Dibiase, The Warlord, and Barbarian stand tall in the cage as security and jobbers still try to climb the cage!

1.The big news out of the last show is Danny Hodge in MCW. With the injury angle to Curt Hennig, may very well lead to Hodge-Kid headlining the next PPV. They may very well tear the house down and with a shift to younger wrestlers coming, it may be just the match that MCW needs.

2. Curt Hennig regained the championship, due to ongoing negotiations with Bruiser Brody. Money has already become an issue, and the company may very well future endeavor him, to fast forward the youth movement.

3. Hennig will be selling his injury while filming the lead role in They Live 2.

4. Barbarian will align with Dibiase and Warlord. Storyline wise it could be Heenan swapping Barbarian for Roop and a boatload of cash. Heenan will lead a vet team of Roop and TBA.

In big news, WWF has acquired the MCW video library, name, logo, and all talent contracts. Vince McMahon, the owner of the WWF, is thrilled to have such superstars as Magnum TA, Curt Hennig, Bruiser Brody, and others under long-term contracts. The video library will probably be made into a multi-disc DVD set and should be able to get a lot of details and background since most will transition into WWF talent.

It became painstakingly clear that something had to happen after the PPV, which did historic low numbers.

The former owners will go on hiatus while looking to launch a new brand that more closely resembles what they envision for pro wrestling.

Upon news of the WWF purchase, The Dynamite Kid asked for and received, his release. He is on a plane back to the UK.
