I have a funny Elder Scrolls story. I think it was the Morrowind boxed set; someone got it for me as a gift. Anyway, I was playing along at a low level: I had just gotten my first full set of shiny green glass armor! I accidentally stumbled into the lair of the end boss.
He was walking around the ledge surrounding this huge chasm with magma at the bottom to crush me into paste, me with my shiny green glass armor and all, and somehow he stepped off the ledge and fell into the magma. He was shouting his end game dialogue at me all while he was losing hit points from the magma. And then he died, and it triggered the end game sequence. Me, in my shiny green glass armor, with no dagger of insta-death, nor the special gauntlet I needed to hold it.
That sort of soured me on computer RPG’s. That and World of Warcraft, when I realized I was just completing (essentially) the same quest over and over again for marginally better rewards. I did have an N64 before I moved from New York to Indiana, and played a lot of WWF No Mercy, but that was about it.
I don’t even own a video game system anymore, and have no real desire to. I satisfy my gaming itch with 7th Sea and my Filsinger Games feds.

I'm really loving the Evercade, I have 11 cartridges for the system and I pre-ordered Piko Interactive Collection 2 & Indie Heroes Collection 1. Power Piggs of the Dark Age & Top Racer (aka Top Gear) from the 1st Piko Interactive Collection are my current games I'm playing...

I rarely play video games anymore due to lack of time. I watch my son play fifa , Rocket league and fall guys a lot.
If I had time I’d love to get my old copy of Geoff Crammond’s Grand Prix 4 installed. I used to love Championship Manager 01-02. Nowadays it’s football manager. I did buy one of the more recent football manager’s on steam a while back. But it took so long. The depth is amazing but when it takes ages just to get to 1 match and pick a team it just put me off. Unfortunately I also get put off by a lack of licensing in games. I want the full experience and not fake names mixed in with reality. Football manager misses many of the premier league logos, kits etc etc whilst FIFA has fake names for teams like Juventus and you cannot edit it which is lame.
The only game I have actually played recently is MARIO Kart on switch and FIFA 21 against my son but I am well below his level on that.

I'm still lovin the Evercade handheld and I just got the 16th cartridge of the 16 currently available, which is the Sports collection from Piko which is the Piko Collection 2. I was playing early this week both Atari collections where I played Yars Revenge & Return to Bowling, then on the Namco 1 collection I played Mappy. The Piko 2 I was getting use to a Madden like football game called Power Football and Hoops Shut Up and Jam, which both are fun... Blaze Entertainment in the UK created this system and at the end of the month, May 28th they have up for pre-order their new cartridge home console which will hold two cartridges and can play up to 4 players. I'll be getting that system, the retro gaming bug has bitten me, fun stuff...

Playing Resident Evil VIllage at the moment How is that? I was curious about it. Picks up a few years after VII...usually play on hard/hardcore but had to turn back difficulty... Different "monsters" this time and puzzles that make u have to think quick and react or "YOU ARE DEAD" About 4 hours in story, definitely a must for RE fans....I give an Old Skewl rating of ***1/2 of ****
