I bought Boss Monster a while back for my son. Unfortunately not been used but I love the box art. I really must give it a go. I love video games but I cannot now remember the last time I played one. Just not enough time and then many evenings too tired. My main energy still goes into GWF/LWF. I do love the Plaay games stuff. We have Face to the Mat, Bowl-o-rama, Soccer Blast and Red White & Blue Racin' I absolutely love the Plaay packaging and box art. Keith has designed some games for unusual lesser known sports too. But he has a habit of making sports I would have no interest in look a cool must have. It is expensive but my dream is to one day own all his game library (or at least the sports ones) even if they don't all get played.

I am fully in on the Evercade from Blaze Entertainment and currently have all 18 cartridges, plus I have everything else preordered for this year. Codemasters 1 & Mega Cat Studios 2 are on their way and this week they revealed the Evercade VS Founders Edition packaging, which is so cool looking... I've been playing Yars' Return, Video Pinball & Aquaventure from Atari 1 and I just finished Alien Cat 2 on the Indie Heroes 1 collection, which was fun stuff...

I've got these two collections coming as early as tomorrow... 25 games total between the two carts, I hear Sensible Soccer is a great game and I'll be giving that a try first on the Code Masters cart and Gluf is getting played first on the Mega Cat Studios cart. Every game has my interests piqued, the only one is Mega-Lo Mania that I'm not sure about and still, I'll give it a try...

That’s old school Crimson Cross but I dig it!
I’m a life long gamer. However Since I’m come back to playing COTG again or maybe its old age my taste has become more selective and all I seem to enjoy now is Sony Exclusives. The Last of Us, Ghosts of Tsushima, and Ratchet and Clank were all amazing. Debating playing Madden this year because of our love/hate relationship. Same with 2K

Same with 2K I'm all about the old school or retrogaming these days, Blaze Entertainment is reliving these retro games on new official cartridges and most of the games are new to me, but many are classics that are really fun playing on the Evercade... Cool on the Sony exclusives, what you love to play is all good and speaking of football, I've just returned to playing Power Football a 1991 game that started as a Accolade game, but Ballistic with Piko Interactive finished making it on the Piko 2 collection and I'm Buffalo taking on KC in the conference title game, not the best football game, but I'm liking it...

I got those two carts in today and many of the games on Codemasters are fun with maybe 2 or 3 not the best, then the Mega Cat Studios cart is good stuff. Sensible Soccer on Codemasters is a really great & fun Soccer game and it can be a deep one, I see why the retro community loves the game...

I used to play a LOT of video games but haven't really had the time to for quite a few years. I did pick up the first Subnautica not too long ago and it kinda feels like it was made just for me, other than the fact that it takes a lot of time to complete. I've been pretty fascinated with survival horror for a while. This is sort of a light survival game, meaning you have to make sure you get enough food, water and air but, unlike some games, you don't have to worry about sleep, manage fat, carbs, etc. PLUS it takes place mostly under a huge alien ocean, which is absolutely terrifying to me.

I’ve had Subnautica in my cart for over two years after reading about how amazing it’s supposed to be. Almost pulled the trigger many times but never have. Only thing that’s stopping me is that I really dislike first person shooter view. I like to see my full character. For example on Skyrim I just can’t play it on first person view. I suck at it. Need to see my guy to see what I’m doing., I fear I’ll run into a similar problem w Subnautica being first person view too. Any thoughts on that?

My Xbox one died two nights ago. Very sad. I just bought Madden 22 too. At least it let me get a full season (and off season/draft) in before croaking.
🪦💔

It's not really a shooter though. I don't know if that makes any difference for you but the main focus of the game is exploration and survival. So, it's not like you're lining up headshots or anything like that. I can't imagine the claustrophobia and scares having the same effect if you were in 3rd person. I'm not a competitive gamer at this point. I don't play anywhere near enough to be competitive so a game like this, where I can drop in mess around for 30 minutes, make a little progress and then come back to it again when I have some time again... it's pretty perfect for me.
