George Steele def. Pampero Firpo by C.O.
A rematch from the first round of the title tournament, won by Steele. This was a pretty brutal contest that went all over the place. It was pretty even as well but Steele slowly began taking over. Firpo avoided a countout once by not a second time.
Valiant Brothers def. Love Brothers
Two teams that won their first match before losing in the title tournament quarterfinals. It was a good one, great defensive tags and a lot of offense and double teaming. The Love Bros. nearly won after Hartford was hit with a finisher, but later the Valiants dropped the top rope elbow again for the win. (Hartford 5 coins)
One Man Gang def. Doug Gilbert
Here was a short one. With both men down the Gang got up first and a face-first suplex put away Gilbert.

NWA WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
MsChif def. Sherri Martel (ch)
A shocking outcome even though MsChif is quite deserving of a title opportunity. She rolled at the start with hard-hitting offense. Then this match got intense and went back and forth all over the arena. MsChif somehow did not get counted out and kept fighting. It took the Desecrator twice to beat Martel and bring the world title to MsChif.

A brief flash at the start by AR Fox but Delirious had little trouble, quickly winning with Red Poison.

NWA INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Bruiser Brody (ch) def. Bobo Brazil
This was a monumental match and the fans were totally loving it. Seriously non-stop fighting in and out of the ring. Both men were down for long periods of time, come back, nearly win, nearly lose, and kept going at it. It was Brody finding a way to score the fall after a leg drop. (Brody 6 coins, Brazil 4 coins)
WWC TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT FINAL
The Texas Hangmen def. The Grappler & Dutch Savage
The masked Texicans really showed what they are made of as they took charge of this match and captured the WWC tag team titles! It was back and forth for a bit but the Grappler got caught in the ring. They worked him over and did the damage outside as well. Twice Dutch Savage broke up covers and interferred, but another time with the Hangmen Backbreaker put away the Grappler.
WWC UNIVERSAL HARDCORE TOURNAMENT FINAL
