Kronos Battlelines
Card #1
Crossroads of the Galaxy Coliseum, Kronos
-The Greek Gods bested Rack and Ruin when Actagon pins Ruin after an especially vicious DUAL OVERHEAD TOSS with Proteus. The Greek Gods were most certainly tested in their highly anticipated debut. Rack and Ruin came to maim with Actagon suffering a broken nose (Ruin bit it and spit the bone shards in Actagon’s face!).
-In his last bout before leaving for points unknown, Paganax made quick business of Pegasus with CENTRA SWING - 6 rotations! Johnny Rocket arrived late through the time portal and complained that the referee should have waited for him to get down to ringside to support Pegasus.
-Cosmos defeated Avalanche (w/Johnny Rocket) after two well-placed Cosmic Skull Smashes - one to Avalanche’s face and the other to the back of his head. This match featured Johnny Rocket interfering more than once, egging on the Maffei II superstar and even jumping into the ring to attempt to break Cosmos’ MASTERLOCK once he slapped it on Avalanche’s oaks tree legs! Before the match on open mic, Rocket assured Kronos fans that they would be treated to the Cloneworld giant’s “mean streak” - but Avalanche seemed dazed and confused for most of the match ( a condition he later attributed to travelling through the portals and not eating breakfast…)
-Nosfera came through the portal with jeers from Kronos fans as his bad reputation is known through all of time and space. The Urban Legend is disqualified for spewing a disgusting DEMON’S BREATH in Density’s face that left the little guy choking. To Density’s credit, he scored two quick and close three counts on Nosfera at the start of the match! Fans were delighted to see Density make his Kronos return.
-Mensar was accompanied to the ring with the maniacal Tyranny. Both men rejected any interviews with Johnny Rocket from the onset. Mensar inched past Gladiator lDisaster in an incredible bout that was surrounded in controversy due to Disaster’s untimely appearance on Kronos. Both monsters battled back and forth until Mensar hit with War Machine, sending Disaster careening through the ropes and onto the coliseum floor. Disaster disappeared mysteriously soon after the match. Johnny Rocket questioned Gladiator Legend Spike as to Disaster’s status and was met with an intimidating “No comment.”
-The Launch Pad took off with a double interview session. First, Johnny met up with Krakan and his Hitmen for Hire. Johnny couldn’t get a word in as Krakan brusquely went on and on about how “It’s all about the money, honey.” Galactic Punisher of the Mercenaries blew cigar smoke in Rocket’s face. Tongsoon reiterated Krakan’s thoughts on cash. Bad Dude wrapped Johnny in Arsenal. Rocket: “Hey, this suit cost money, honey.” Vyper stood in the background looking on sullenly with a python draped across his shoulders. Psyclone: “Brother, I’m gonna send that b*tch Payback packing back to Titan where he belongs!” Johnny interviewed the Overmen after showing vintage clips of their father Janus engaged in ring action. Jupiter: “We are here to do our father proud and capture every championship there is to be had, little man!” Olympia arrived late to the interview and stared down Jupiter but retained a hand on his shoulder for support.
-Havoc and Paralyze get the DQ win over Twin Telepathy When Raven and Blazing Holocaust storm down to ringside to make the save! Torment and Category 5 were at ringside for most of the bout, bragging what superior Aethran specimens they were and tried to interfere numerous times. In their debut, Twin Telepathy were a well-oiled machine against Havoc and Paralyze, displaying strategic teamwork. After the bout, Blazing Holocaust knocked Havoc out cold with his missle arm, splitting his cranium nearly in half. (What’s gotten into Blazing Holocaust these days? He looks as if he enjoyed the injury at Havoc’s expense…) A stretcher is brought down to ringside and medics had to attend Paralyze’s bleeding left eye socket (this one thanks to Raven). Havoc and Paralyze, like Disaster, disappeared rather rapidly from Kronos timelines. Another Aethran embarrassment? It’s W.A.R versus Gladiators once again - this time at the crossroads of time and space!
-The Master Race Thraxx and Zygon (w/Dark Menace) beat Category 5 and Torment. Zygon pinned a weakened Category 5 after TRI-CLAW. Before and after the match, the Dark Menace praised the Master Race as being “the epitome of perfection and prowess in this and any era.”
Infinity-Plex was disqualified against a hellbent Avenging Force when members of his team Extinction Event came to make the save. Rhea smashed Avenging Force through Johnny Rocket’s announcer table followed by SCATTERED REMAINS by Rack and Ruin. No one came to Avenging Force’s side. Infinity-Plex stood ominously over the fallen vigilante and called out Infinity.
-Solaris called for W.A.R. members Raven and Blazing Skull to be suspended until further notice for their attack on the Gladiators.
-To the surprise of his adoring fans, Endgame stepped through the portal with blazing silver-white light. He came through from 2119 and bested Infinity with ROLLING FIGURE FOUR. Infinity seemed to be distracted by the injuries to Avenging Force by Infinity-Plex and his minions that occurred earlier on the card. (Infinity was seen backstage with Avenging Force before the event striking an uneasy alliance.) Infinity-Plex’s voice booms through the coliseum after this match: “Let the cleansing begin, my Infinity scum! Let the death bells toll for you -- and the entire Universe!” Endgame to Infinity later: “This being, this Infinity-Plex is pure evil and must be met head on. I will assist you if you need me.”
-The Cosmic Cage extravaganza between Spike and Raven was cut due to Raven’s status. Spike laughed it off: “Excuses, excuses. Instead of handing down some useless suspension, Solaris could have exiled Raven into the steel cage with me as punishment for his transgressions.” When questioned by Johnny Rocket about the condition and whereabouts of Havoc and Paralyze as well as the loss of Category 5 and Torment, he responded: “No comment.”
-Psyclone gave his Titan counterpart Payback (who was well received by Kroonos fans) a hardcore welcome by handing him a devastating defeat in a Titan Death Match with HARDCORE TITAN DROP! Payback ended up in the first two rows of fans at ringside after that move…! Psyclone attacked Payback before the bell, stabbing him in the back of his shoulder with a rusty tool. Both Titans showed their violent sides, but Psyclone kept his word. (Where did all of the tables that were broken come from??) Psyclone on mic after the bout with Kronos fans drowning him out and Payback a bloody heap at his feet: “Payback - you’re nuthin but a b*tch!”
