2020 was a boring year for wrestling as a whole. All sports without fans has been tough to watch. I mostly agree with this. Wrestling especially needs a live audience to play off of. I have enjoyed MMA without fans though. You can really hear the impact and the corners' coaching so much more.

I think some pro wrestling added crowd noise to their shows to help with that deafening silence!

I feel like wrestling in 2020 played out more online than on TV because of virus outside interference.
Ive had a much tougher time even just finding results to read online. The actual show results immediately get buried by stories about the comments and tweets and thoughts of wrestlers and promoters about the show and the segments that just aired a few hours ago. Kayfabe is absolutely dead in 2020 and that bores me too. Wrestling is very much like the Walking Dead now where as soon as the show is over all the actors and directors get together and talk about their characters and the segments etc...then next week they are back in character for a few minutes...new normal I guess but not what I’m used to.

Lol, that’s actually a great analogy

I think the only guy that keeps that Kayfabe is MJF! I've never really seen him out of character! That dude loves his job! 😂

Who wouldn’t want to be like MJF. I honestly don’t get the mindset of wrestlers today

I've heard some say that they view themselves as actors playing a part rather than the way things used to be where they kept kayfabe alive as much as possible.
