Vampiro (17) v. Bob Orton Jr. (48)

Vampiro gets an impressive start after Morgan Dollar calls for the bell which leads to three consecutive superkicks that spills Orton to the floor. Orton stumbles over Dr. Mike Lano which allows Vampiro to dish out some more punishment at ringside. Back in the ring, Vampiro with a power bomb followed by yet another superkick. NAIL IN THE COFFIN and Dollar makes the three count (R3/P5).

I expected a much stronger showing from Orton based on my use of his B/W card but the dice had other ideas...

The Crusher (16) v. Stevie Richards (49)

For the next match, I will go with The Crusher as he is the only EAWA Grand Slam Champion in my fed.

The Crusher (16) v. Stevie Richards (49)

Richards decides to come right at Crusher with a chop to the chest after the bell. Perhaps not the best idea as he ends up in a bear hug for his trouble. Crusher applies a CRUSHER NELSON but Richards is able to get a foot in the ropes to stay alive (R6/P4). The action on the floor does not go the way of the BWO and when the action gets back into the ring, Crusher applies a stomach claw in the middle of the ring and gets the submission (R4/P5).

It appears that The Crusher was the overwhelming favourite for good reason. After two squash matches, lets see if the next encounter is more competitive . . .
