While this update is much better than the original 2091 drawing, I just can't get into a Gladiator smiling like a babyface. A smirk, sure, but this looks like he's trying to get on a Wheaties box. Please note that I'm not knocking the drawing, as Werner is my favorite COTG artist ever. That smile though, LOL. Yeah, I don't mind the 'smile' because it's a pretty cocky-looking smirk. I feel like he is saying, "I'm Spike and the rest of you are nothing to me." |

Yeah, I think Tendron's artwork was why I never could do much with him. Too hard to take seriously and he didn't have the stats to ignore bad art.

I Like the Necros’ art, but I never liked his stats. Agree with most on Thantos. I thought it was Encubus at first glance. I loved Whiplash’s OG art and I didn’t have a problem with Tendron. He was ugly AF but I thought that was the point. He reminded me of a creature from Swamp Thing. Overall Werner is doing a great job

I always like Tendron's card, I thought the art was interesting. Maybe not fantastic, but most of Carter's were not fantastic (for me). I'm looking forward to Werner's update! 👍
