As Jim Coronette once said, a scaffold match can draw a crowd, but only about once every 2 to 3 years. To have them any more often just ruins the mystique. cotgfb, my response to that is how long has LOW been a game? We're due for a scaffold match.

We do have a Zero Gravity Platform match...which is kind of the same thing on a cosmic level.

At Galacticon, something was said during the Q & A which got my wheels turning. It may be too late for a suggestion, and this may be just something that I want and no one else will, but here goes. I would think it interesting to see a section of all the main charts historically, so if I wanted to play with the Into the Turnbuckle chart from 2087 with the original cards I could, or if in 2103 I wanted to update to the 2105 Into the Ropes chart I could do that as well. I believe most of the charts besides the current ones are hard to get, so it wouldn't be taking anything away from the store. Since I'm so far behind, I'm not sure how difficult an undertaking this would be, but for me, it would add to this being a true comprehensive Ringside Companion. this is an excellent idea & would add a lot IMO

That goes also for Splatter's Lottery, the CPC Lottery, the Wolf Wildman Chart, the Tiger Mask Out of the Ring Chart, Skwish, and all the other in-booklet, non-card charts.
I know this may be late in the game but I almost wonder about the feasability of making an e-book an option (as opposed to the pdf that Mike M. shot down at the Q&A). That would be a way for most people to be able to bring up on a tablet or e-reader or even a phone, and allow for something to be all-encompassing, save on printing costs, and save on editing by just putting the entire match or chart on one page instead of having to account for breaking across pages. You open the thing up, find the match or chart you want, and just tap or click on it.
Of course, I say this having never published an e-book.

After hearing the news, I just have one thing to say. To quote Cotton Hill on King of the Hill, "Well, it's about time!"

When I posted my comment I forgot that Jim was talking about the house draw for an event that included a scaffold match. The Road Warriors - Midnight Express match drew a much bigger gate than the Midnight Express - Rock and Roll Express scaffold match one year later. Obviously in LOW or GWF we don't worry about the gate. We can say every event we have is an SRO house, even if the main event is Santino Marelli vs. Astro Turk. Who can dispute us? So, bring on the scaffold match.

How about a generic talk show chart hosted by a wrestler? That way those of us who don't have the Piper's Pit card can have an "official" wrestler talk show that we can use for that, the Barber Shop, or a new talk show like Ox Baker's Kitchen!
