Pro Wrestling Elevated #4
Gordon Solie: Welcome to Pro Wrestling Elevated, I'm Gordon Solie, thank you for joining us, and let's head to the ring for our next marquee matchup in the first round of the PWE World Championship tourney.
(4)Dan Severn vs (13)Jerry Brisco
Severn with a height and weight advantage. Brisco has the edge in agility. They come running out of the corner at the bell and lock up collar and elbow, they reverse several moves at the start, Severn hits a belly-to-belly throw, goes for a pin, Brisco kicks out, but he's in trouble early! Severn dumps Jerry outside and Brisco is crawling helplessly back in the ring!
Severn hits a huge German suplex, Brisco bails outside to get a breath, they brawl on the outside and clearly, Severn got the advantage, he tosses Brisco back in, he gets the CHOKE SLEEPER in deep, Brisco is able to escape the pin attempt. Severn stretches Brisco with a bow and arrow, Brisco decides to stay and fight rather than leave the ring again and Severn slaps in the ARMBAR, Brisco gets out of this, but the fatigue is catching up with him quick, Severn hits ARMBAR again and that's it, Brisco has no choice but to submit!!!
Your winner and advancing to the ELite 8: Dan Severn!!!!
Be sure and tune in to our next match, as (5) Brian Myers faces (12) Adrian Adonis!!!!

So, question for everyone, Brisco had bailed and gotten thrown out during the match, I played it at the end that Brisco would stay and fight rather than leave the ring again, I thought his amateur mentality would kick in to stay and fight, but he paid dearly for that thought process. Do you use "leave the ring" every time, or more as an option depending on the wrestler?
Would really appreciate all feedback on this, as it could decide what I do moving forward!

Just like a defensive (tag), I roll on the chart EVERY time a wrestlers gets the (lv) option... After all, what's the worst that could happen? And it gives the defensive wrestler a chance to turn things around... That being said, it's not something that I 'write' into the match each time I roll on the chart... Kinda like when I roll the same move several times in a row - In my head, the move itself is just being performed a single time... The dice are just leading me to the outcome - the exact route is what I picture in my head... Hope that all makes sense... Severn was not messing around with Jerry B... Truly a BEAST when he's on the warpath!

Truly a BEAST when he's on the warpath! Thanks, i definitely hear you. What i was thinking was that the leave the ring card feels like it leads to more of an ECW-esque type of flow, and i didnt know how i felt about that, and if that was something i thought Brisco and other amateurs would do. But i think from now on, i will stick straight to the cards. There was slew of reversals at the start, but it just seemed like Severn mauled Brisco here in this match-up...

Before the Bell Preview
Gordon Solie: Good evening everyone, let's head straight to the video preview of our next World Championship tourney match, of Brian Myers vs Adrian Adonis! Then we will make our predictions, with our panel of Jim Cornette and Koko B. Ware.
Adrian Adonis hails from New York City. Adonis briefly played professional football in Canada, before transitioning to a career in professional wrestling. Adonis first reached acclaim by winning tag team gold alongside Jesse Ventura. The majority of his career was spent in the Northeast, firstly forming a team with Dick Murdoch, and winning more tag championship gold.
Adonis challenged Hulk Hogan on several occasions for championship gold, unsuccessfully. Adrian then participated in the most famous match of his career, vs Roddy Piper in a hair vs hair match at WM3. Adrian Adonis certainly does possess one of the most unique personalities in wrestling history. But will that equate to championship gold?
Brian Myers was a successful amateur wrestler in high school, who turned down a college scholarship, to pursue his dream of professional wrestling. Brian was trained by Mikey Whipwreck, and while in developmental, he held tag team gold twice. After spending the better part of 8 years in the Northeast, Brian again emerged on the independent circuit for a few years, before re-emerging again in the Northeast. As of now, Brian is running a successful podcast, while also helping younger talent at his training school, all this while staying active in professional wrestling.
GS: Let's welcome our guests, as usual, the manager of champions, Jim Cornette, along with special guest Koko B. Ware. So Jim, who ya got?? JC: Gordon, I mean, this is another straight down the middle match. I mean flip a coin, if I'm pressed I'm gonna go with Adrian. He hits Goodnight Irene, Brian is gonna be snoring in the ring pal. Koko: I agree with Jim. I guess I should pick Brian, so Jim and I could argue, but I'm going with Adrian. I do expect another solid match as we've seen throughout this tourney.
GS: Well, there you have it, folks, our panel agrees that Adrian is a favorite in this upcoming match. Goodight everyone and we will see you at the matches!

Pro Wrestling Elevated #5
Hello everyone, I'm Gordon Solie, and we are bringing you a special Saturday night match, between Adrian Adonis and Brian Myers! We are live in the WCCB studio here in Charlotte, N.C., and let's head down ringside where our 2 combatants are already in the ring, who are ready to battle in this next match in the PWE Heavyweight Championship tourney!
(5)Brian Myers vs (12) Adrian Adonis
Brian tries an elbow that Adonis reverses, Adrian with a snap mare, then hits a suplex assortment, Adonis with a pin cover early, Myers kicks out but is in trouble, Adonis hits his patented bulldog headlock, another pin that Myers kicks out of, Adonis goes up and hits Myers with a flying clothesline! Adonis locks in his finisher, GOODNIGHT IRENE, but Myers breaks the hold. But fatigue is settling in fast, as Adonis hits another bulldog, Myers slips past a knee lift from Adonis, both wrestlers are down in the middle of the ring after they both go for specialty moves, but Adonis is up first!
Adonis hits a DDT, then a gut-wrench backbreaker, he goes for the pin, and this time he gets it!!
Winner of the match, and advancing in the PWE World Championship tournament, Adrian Adonis!!!!!
Join us tomorrow, for Don Muraco vs Curt Hennig!
GS: Thanks for joining us tonight, so long folks!

Solid effort by Myers, but as expected, Adonis emerged victorious... Pleased with that outcome.
Hennig vs. Muraco has awesome potential... Stoked!

I definitely "role play" this and the (tag) options. If it doesn't fit for a wrestler to leave the ring every chance he gets I'm not doing it. Jack is one that would usually stay and fight unless the opponent is breaking rules, while a guy like Larry Zbyszko is doing it every time. Really enjoy the action you've got going here once again. Very cool write ups

Before the Bell Preview
Gordon Solie: Hello everyone, welcome to Before the Bell. This is a special edition, as we will not only preview Don Muraco vs Curt Hennig, but we will have a special announcement at the end of the show. Along with me this evening, as always, Jim Cornette, and our guest analyst this evening, Bob Orton Jr. Let's watch this video piece on Don Muraco.
Muraco, a native Hawaiian, was a state amateur wrestling champion. Early in his career, Muraco shuffled through various territories in Minnesota, California, and Florida. His career reached new heights in the Northeast, claiming singles gold early on against Pedro Morales. Later, he faced Jimmy Snuka for singles gold inside a steel cage that provided one of wrestling's greatest memories.
Muraco headlined multiple cards at MSG. Muraco had a memorable feud with Ricky Steamboat. It was also around this time that Don aligned himself with Mr. Fuji and Bob Orton, Jr.
Curt Hennig, a native of Robbinsdale, Minnesota, who made his professional debut in 1980, quickly became a household name by defeating in 1987 for a World Championship. A belt that he would hold for over a year until losing to Jerry Lawler. He then went on to find his most success in the northeast, winning individual gold and having memorable feuds against Bret Hart, Texas Tornado, Big Bossman, and Hulk Hogan, and Ric Flair.
Hennig relocated to the south, where he found success in the tag ranks and almost joined the Four Horsemen.
GS: Well Jim, who do you have in this evening's matchup of Muraco vs Hennig? Jim: Well you know I love both of these wrestlers, both finely tuned athletes. My pick goes to Hennig though, a superior technician in the ring. Orton: You know Muraco is my boy, Gordon. He's gonna hit the Hawaiian Hammer and advance in this tournament.
GS: Well, we said we had an announcement, Jim you want to tell our audience? Jim: Sure. Well PWE has recently let it be know that they're accepting applications for manager's liscences. And one has been approved and signed off on by ownership. So, in Don Muraco's corner when he faces Curt Hennig, will be none other than Mr Fuji!
GS: What an announcement. We will see you all for the next match in the tournament, goodnight everyone.
Camera pans out as an ecstatic Orton is clapping at the addition of Mr Fuji!
