Hey guys. The next AEW PPV is tonight! Who all is watching? What are you most looking forward to?
I want to see how they pull off this FMW style main event. I'm sure it will be a lot of hype like the matches were in the 90's. But knowing what these guys did in the Lights Out match a year and a half ago, I think it could still be really good.
I expect Sammy Guevara to cost MJF and Jericho the tag title leading to the next chapter in the Inner Circle breakup.
The Darby and Sting vs Team Tazz match I have low expectations for personally. But they have been doing a decent job of highlighting Sting and protecting him. luckily he will not be on a mic tonight...for me those have been the most cringe worthy moments of his AEW appearances.
As for the new big signing. My guess from the beginning was RVD. I know Angle and Christian are also possibilities, which would be fine. The only earth shattering signing would be CM Punk, but I don't see that happening.

I am watching tonight as I ordered this show this morning.
I am most looking forward to the Jon Moxley vs Kenny Omega Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match for the AEW Championship.
As for the new mystery signing, I was thinking Christian. I know he was in the Royal Rumble back in January but the WWE have not used him much since. And with Edge's Wrestlemania title shot approaching, I have been surprised not to see Christian on WWE TV a little more recently which has made me wonder if he is still under WWE contract or not. But I think RVD and Kurt Angle are also good guesses if it is a former WWE wrestler.

Also, for the new mystery signing, Tony Khan has said it is one of his favorite wrestlers and the Young Bucks in their book discuss how Tony Khan is a big fan of Japanese wrestling and that he even sat front row for the NJPW show in California in March 2018. Perhaps this mystery signing is a wrestler from Japan?

Perhaps this mystery signing is a wrestler from Japan? I think it could be Okada *EDIT* I just saw NJPW had a show this morning and Okada was on it, there goes that thought. I hate the overhyping of new signings that so many companies do. They've built it up, fans have built it up even more and I think anything outside of Punk, Brock or Cena will be looked at as a letdown.

I am working so will not be watching. Also I am at the point unless something really grabs me I am not buying PPVs I think and that includes Impact.
The main event will be awesome. The Team Taz vs Sting/Darby looks interesting and hopefully should be good. The Woman's title match will be sweet too. As far as the signing I am interested but do not have the bar set high. I originally thought it would be a female as Paul never used a pronoun but then someone told me Khan said "he" on a podcast. I still think it may not even be a wrestler as again Paul did not use "wrestler" but he said "talent". Either way to me it is not super hyped as it was announced just a couple days before the PPV. It is hard these days to make a big splash signing as everyone knows who is signed and who is a FA.
To those that watch I hope you get a great PPV.

I don't see Christian Cage as an earth shattering announcement but he's always been a great wrestler and great personality. His time in TNA really showed what he could do toward the top of a card. I'll be interested to see what AEW does with him.

Me thinks Dixie Gulas should probably put a lid on these “earth shattering” signings/returns (PAC, Christian). There is what, Taker, Cena, Austin, Rock, Lesnsr, at this point in wrestling that would truly be “earth shattering”. Cool the hype Dixie.

And I’m not saying this because I work for him, but add Cornette to the list. They would break their tv ratings record if he showed up

The show was not good. I liked the Omega/Moxley match before the awful post-match angle and the Sting/Darby vs. Team Taz match ruled, but beyond those two things this was the worst AEW PPV by a mile. I'm glad I was in a group call with friends because if I had to watch this show by myself I'd probably rank it among my least favorite shows ever.
The Christian announcement sucked the life out of the show, even though basically everyone saw it coming, which badly needed help by that point. He's not a Hall of Fame worthy wrestler nor was he ever a major star. This borders on how TNA did 500 different things that were "going to change the face of TNA" and then it's just Booker T fresh off of jobbing to Triple H at SummerSlam.
