My hope is one day to reunite my Team Patriot: Abe Lincoln, George Washington and William Howard Taft lol

I had a lot of fun with Victor so I'd never turn down another card for him or Terrible Ted.

I am really getting into this Vintage set. It was never an era I gave a lot of thought too but I've been challenging myself to expand my ideas in booking my NWA Territories. I've really enjoyed reading about the wrestlers as well. Most of these wrestlers will go to my NWA Gateway Fed which his a bit more of a focus on technical wrestling. I'm also inspired by the boards and seeing people's excitement. Kudos to the team for another excellent set.

I am glad to see Evan Lewis as many of us guessed is in this set.
I am going to bring George Hackenschmidt into my fed right away after this set arrives and I will bring Frank Gotch in soon afterward. Although I will use everyone in this set, I don't have any immediate plans for the others. But I do plan to use the Great Gama in a special attraction match at my upcoming Vegasmania 3 before giving him a full-time roster spot.

Most of my Vintage guys; Hackenschmidt, Lewis, Fenton, and later Gama, will be fighting Shane Douglas and his Team Extreme. Irslinger may join Gotch and his group, depending on who the last name is revealed to be.
Meanwhile, Turk will slowly take down opponent after opponent as a build up to being a top threat, and eventually Gama will join him. I thought of Tim Donst as Turk’s first opponent, but Donst has a nasty habit, in my fed, of turning a slight advantage in dice rolls into huge upsets, so I’m thinking of using Regal instead.

So is Evan’s finisher a ground headlock like Ed’s, or is it something different? The book, Shooters, describes it as a sleeper, but that’s a pretty open-ended term as well. It's a guillotine choke hold. It was described that way in the "Evan Strangler Lewis" Kindle book by Ken Zimmerman, Jr. It also acknowledged that had been described as a sleeper hold previously, but this clarified it was a guillotine and not a rear naked choke/sleeper.

Nice! I love when stuff like this is clarified by new information being out there now.

So a front facelock and body scissors type move like the one used by Daniel Bryan and a bunch of MMA fighters? Okay cool, thanks.

I like that idea of a Vintage team against a team of Extremists. What would you call your Vintage team? In my fed I might go for something like the Golden Oldies or the Golden Boys/Guys
