Liger comes out using his agility to gain the advantage early. The Patriot is able to stop the high flying Liger to ground and pound. The end comes as the Patriot goes for a high flying move. Liger catches him on the top rope and sends the Patriot flying to the ground. With the Patriot down Liger lands the Shooting Star Press for the win
Liger will have a very tough match as he faces (3) Dan Severn next

Mad Dog pounces all over Rogers early. He continues to bite down on Rogers but Rogers turns it around and quickly locks in the Figure Four Grapevine for the submission win
Rogers will face the winner of the (12) George Hackenschmidt/(28) Maurice Tillet match

Race had opportunities to finish Savage but just couldn't do it. Savage kept on fighitng till he picks up the win with a stunning Running Piledriver Savage will face (3) Jimmy Snuka in what should be a interesting match (Can't believe I had to write this up...) HOLY SNAP! Did NOT see this one coming! |

Baba had to withstand an early onslaught from Bastien. Bastien shockingly got Baba to the ground. Baba was able to recover and win with a big Baba chop
