Hey everyone!
Does anyone know much about streamer content houses? There was an article on Yahoo about such a thing (for a house that had adult content though, which is NOT what I will talk about here).
So I remembered something I saw on Youtube some time ago about a group of Twitch streamers that had bought a house and wanted others to join. They were (still are?) recruiting streamers that had "unique content" to join them at the house while they stream gameplay.
I've looked into it recently, and there has been a bit of news about how some people in those houses don't get along (misconduct, loud partying, lack of background checks, etc), and legal trouble (the house used is for a "single-family unit only" despite there being 5 strangers in it, noise complaints from the neighbors, predatory behavior by house members, etc).
So I wondered if the content houses were really a SCAM? Do the business owners (the original streamers running the house) just take ideas from their newly added group members as their own? It happens in wrestling all the time, with new guys try out only to have veterans steal their moves.
If you want more info about such houses on Youtube, here:

FaZe Clan: www.youtube.com/c/faze/featured
100 Thieves: www.youtube.com/c/100Thieves/featured
There's plenty of content on Youtube from these houses. There's also news about allegations, but the allegations are just that: ALLEGATIONS. I haven't gotten into the seedy underbelly of this business model, but it sure is fascinating!
Any thoughts about the whole streamer houses idea?
