Hi
Once you are done with listening to the Official Filsinger Games podcast, you can watch THIS if you haven't watched this already: Jim Cornette - The Crockett Diaries!
It's Jim Cornette recounting a bunch of old wrestling history for a couple of hours! I know a lot of wrestling history, but it's just WWF stuff. I didn't know most of the stuff Cornette mentions here. Fascinating stuff for any TRUE wrestling fan! Enjoy!
WARNING: Strong language ahead (or I think so, haven't watched it all yet, haha)!
Later!

Funny, I just watched that yesterday...though I know a lot of what he said it was nice having relaxed Cornette instead of perpetually angry Cornette.

Really informative, I think this was on a Highspots DVD about Mid Atlantic Memories if I recall right, may try to scoop that up after watching this...

I found the story about the Midnight Express going to Texas to be very interesting. They went there to do a program w the Von Erich’s, but it never developed (can you imagine?) because Geno, Adams and OMG were tied up w the Von Erichs. So the Midnights went against the Fantastics instead.
Hearing about Dusty booking the Crocket Cup and the famous scaffold match was fascinating as well. Cornette is like a living book, just full of useful information and wonderful stories of the past.

I've listened to a whole lot of Cornette's stuff, and it's always amazing to find out what it was like behind the scenes! I'm glad there's a Cornette card in LOW (I think I have that, but I'd have to double-check). Wouldn't it be fun to have good ol' Cornette actually show up at GCon? He could talk all day and I'd never get bored! Todd C WTIC

Hi You can ask Cornette to consider it, at least, once GCon plans are solidified. I'm sure he's very busy though. A VIRTUAL appearance would work well, though. That way, there's no concerns about Covid, his appearance fee wouldn't be too much, and he could just stay for an hour or two if he wants. And he could say he doesn't want to field questions from the audience. That would be fine, I'm sure! He can always say "no". But I hope he does CONSIDER it. Todd C WTIC

Well Cornette is averse to traveling at this point but any involvement would be welcomed.
