It’s opening night here at the FTR Launching Pad for a new year in FTR! Putting a damper on all of tonight’s exciting action is Mr. Fun Governor himself, Quest. He’s been hanging around backstage all day asking questions and making everybody nervous. I hope the wrestlers can focus on their matches with this big investigation around the disappearance of Blue Chip is going on.
* King Tux (1) w/Cephalopodis & Chameleon pins Mayham (2) w BELLY FLOP in our opener.
The fans love Tux and hate Mayham big time!
Sonny Rocket makes a quick wardrobe change and heads to the ring in his wrestling gear!
* Mass (3) w The Kroll Scientists & Uranus shocks Sonny Rocket (3) w Power of Kroll in a great match!
Uranus orders Mass to injure Sonny, but the bad guys are run off by Astarte & Mad Maxus!
An angry Vacant is looking all over the backstage area for his opponent tonight - Swerve. The two are scheduled to fight in a Hardcore Titan Death Match, but Swerve has been missing all day.
* Astarte (1) w Sonny Rocket crushes Uranus (3) winning with GREATNESS DAWNS (+2).
After the match, Mass carries an unconscious Uranus back to the locker room.
Vacant is searching for Swerve in the landing bay when Swerve appears from behind a moon cruiser and attacks! The match is on!
* Vacant (1) beats Swerve (2) in a HARDCORE TITAN DEATH MATCH when Swerve attempts a deathjump and Vacant shoved him off of the top turnbuckle. Swerve falls 15 feet to the floor where he is knocked out. Vacant rolls him into the ring and pins him for the big W.
* FTR TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS Mad Maxus w Sonny Rocket retain the titles defeating Cephalopodis & Chameleon. Totally Awesome pins Cephalopodis with Monster Machine.,
Midway through the match, King Tux tried interfering and was sent away from ringside. On his way back he was jumped by Mayham! The attack threw Cephalopodis & Chameleon off, leading to their demise.
MAIN EVENT
FTR Champion Captain Crossbones is waiting impatiently for Pardon to show himself. The crazed Brymstone Cult is going mad at ringside where they have bullied their way into the front rows. After a long delay, Pardon’s music hits and he makes his official entrance into FTR!
* Pardon w the Brymstone Cult & Moonlight defeats Captain Crossbones (3) w FUTURE ENDEAVORS to win the FTR TITLE!
Crossbones is left stunned in defeat, caught off guard by an improved Pardon from their days on Brymstone. Pardon celebrates in the front row w his cult as Crossbones promises revenge!
New FTR CHAMP!
Pardon is hoisted onto the shoulders of his Brymstone Cult and paraded around ringside in victory as we fade to black.
