Hello all!
I have a quick question! I have tried this in the past but now that I am back into legends I am planning on posting my fed that I have been playing. My question is do people prefer the quick results with match results and a few words about promos and match reviews or is more detailed better? I have read a few feds and I see both. As it stands I typically write my feds out much like a script but I’m not sure that approach will translate well to the message board. I know that I enjoy more detail and it is my fed but the point of putting it on the message board is for others enjoyment. Any advice is welcome! Thanks in advance!

For my own writing of my fed, I like to include more, as it just helps me get a complete picture of the storylines and directions I'm going. But you do what you like to do!

For my feds, it depends.
For my COTG fed, I just post results since it is a result-oriented fed and I mostly just use the official storyline which I really do not see the need to fully repost. I am mostly just posting my COTG fed for my own record-keeping purposes anyway as my previous COTG fed was all on paper and I lost some key results in one of my many past moves. So I decided to just reboot my fed using the color cards as they get released and post the results on this board this time so I can have an electronic copy as a backup. So far I have played 2087-2090 (about to start 2091 in a few days as I just got that set,) 2136, and 2125-May of 2129.
For my LOW and Indy feds, I tend to post much more detail as those are feds where I use more creativity regarding storylines which to me require more explanation about what is happening.

I go through phases both as a writer of my own fed and a reader of others feds. Sometimes I really enjoy a well told story, but the fact is it is not easy to keep up with people’s feds. I forget about stuff in my own fed, let alone remembering what people do in their own lol. So because of that, I’m most often just looking to see who everybody’s champs are, title history, and who won/lost. As a card stat junkie, how the cards are doing is usually my top interest when reading the fed forum.
I think a good piece of advice is that regardless of how long or short your results are, make sure the match ups and the result are easy to find. For example, if you have long write ups for your match results, put the result in bold.
The faster I can find and read your results the more chances I’ll come back for more.
Hope that helps!

I like more detail. Otherwise, it feels like the arena reports in PWI. Also, for the love of God, if you have a team you've created and has a colorful name, mention who the guys on the team are at some point.

I'd say more, but you don't need to go overboard. Brief description and angles/storyline info that would be helpful. But bottom line, it's whatever you're most comfortable with.

I forgot to mention bolding or underlining the results. I don't remember who originally asked me to do that but I've been doing it for years.
