9/7 Dothan, AL
D’Lo Brown beat Masked Superstar due to interference from The Destroyer; Jerry Brisco & The Destroyer went to a time limit draw ****; Harley Race & Larry Hennig dq Steve Williams & Brian Armstrong; Bob Armstrong b Johnny Dalton; Jack Brisco b J.J. Dillon; Jimmy & Johnny Valiant retained the tag titles beating Brian Blair & Scott Casey

Notes: The Masked Superstar made it known his first goal in SCCW is to take out The Destroyer and become the Greatest Masked Man of all-time. Destroyer wasn’t thrilled, which led to his interference in the opener. Superstar retaliated by breaking up a Destroyer Figure Four on Jerry Brisco in the next bout. Steve Williams once again lost him temper and was disqualified in the tag contest. Johnny Dalton challenged the Armstrongs to a tag match. Valiants become the longest reigning SCCW tag champs with the successful title defense.

9/16 Mobile, AL
Brian Armstrong dq Larry Hennig; Tom Prichard & D’Lo Brown dq Bob Roop & George South; Red Bastien dq Quebecer Pierre; Ted DiBiase b Johnny Valiant; Bob & Brad Armstrong b The Dirty Daltons; Harley Race retained the South Coast championship with a DQ win over Steve Williams

Notes: Destroyer responded to Masked Superstar’s challenge by simply saying “Let’s go!”. Ray Stevens suggested a tag bout with Destroyer against Superstar and a partner of his choosing on the next show. Bob Roop walked out on partner South in the tag match, then returned after the bell and beat him senseless. Lou Albano said that DiBiase would have to defeat one of the Valiant brothers if he wanted a match against Muraco. And DiBiase got the job done. After the main event result, Williams is lobbying for another rematch with Race with a “no DQ” stipulation. South Coast officials are leery of rewarding Williams’ recent behavior and feel Pampero Firpo’s recent performance makes him the top contender.

9/27 Pensacola, FL

Dillon b Brad Armstrong ****1/2; The Destroyer & Ray Stevens nc Masked Superstar & a mystery partner; Pampero Firpo b Frank Dalton (his 5th challenger for his Alligator Alley title); Magnificent Muraco b Ted DiBiase

Notes: Surprisingly fantastic match with Dillon and Brad Armstrong. Ray Stevens turned on The Destroyer before their tag match against Masked Superstar. Stevens and Superstar are now working together, and Destroyer later admitted he has no friends in the locker room to help him out. Then he said “Well, maybe one…maybe.” As Firpo has defeated five challengers, he will vacate the Alligator Alley title and a new champion will be crowned in October. Main event saw DiBiase go after Albano, who had interfered liberally. Ted got blindsided and nearly knocked out by Muraco. The Magnificent One then gave him three Hawaiian Hammers in a row. DiBiase was helped from the ring by Brian Blair & Scott Casey. The Quebecers are making noise about a Steel Cage Match with the Flying Redheads immediately after Billy “Red” Lyons returns to action in Panama City, FL at the end of October.


Going with this format in an effort to get through 2021. Probably my last update for a little bit as I leave for CAC tomorrow.

MAGNUM TA defeated ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER

- THE BUTCHER used his foreign object to turn Manum's face into a crimson mask, but TA just kept fighting back.
- MAGNUM scored the hard-fought win after a BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX out of nowhere!!!

* MAGNUM grabbed a microphone after the match "FUJI... no bounty is going to stop me from tearing your whole house down, and then taking the National title from that big nasty Gorilla!"

The ODD COUPLE, as the press have dubbed them, cut the ring in half perfectly - isolating Jones. Harley scored the pin after a nasty big boot to face, as Street stopped Tiger from making the save.




VAMPIRO 4 defeated OX BAKER 5 by CO

Two men, both in desperate need of a win, fought like there was no tomorrow and tore the house down in the process. The fight spilled to the floor late and both men got their shots in, but it was the Canadian Vampire who was able to beat the ten count back in the ring. OX was livid wih the decsion ad dropped Vampiro with a Heart Punch after the match.




NATIONAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH
BWO: 'BIG' STEVIE COOL & BLUE MEANIE

STEVE CORINO 2 & 'LIGHTNING' ROD FENTON (C)

The BWO cut the ring in half perfectly and systematically took The King of Old School apart! A wicked STEVIE KICK finished Corino, as Fenton made no pin save and Nova took Alfonso out on the outside. 'NEW" National tag team champions!




After the match, Fenton bashed Corino over the head with a beer bottle and headed to the back alone. Bill Alfonso was chasing after him, leaving Corino alone, down and bleeding in the ring!




GORDON SOLIE interviews MAGNUM TA - TA "It's doesn't matter who put the bounty on my head, it didn't work, and I get Monsoon in the ring next card in Cleveland. I'm bring the National title back to the U.S. and Fuji if you stick your nose in the match... well, you'd wish you hadn't."

Magnum walks off and KILLER KOWALSKI eases his way beside Solie. - Kowalski "That title match should be mine Gordon, but they give it to the pretty boy ladies' man... Fair?... A lot can happen between now and then Gordon, I might still get that title match."

SOLIE - "The fans may love his anti-hero style, but I don't trust him - no sir. For all we know, he could have been the one that put the bounty on Magnum's head."




TEXAS DEATH MATCH
YUSUF ISMAIL 'THE TERRIBLE TURK' 2 defeated MIKE JACKON 6

Jackson fought the fight of his life, fueled by the fans, but it was not to be! Ismail was finally able to choke the game Jackson out with his STRANGLE HOLD!

Jackson, having taken several NECK WRENCHERs during the match, had to be stretchered out with a neck brace on.

The hero goes out on his shield, to a standing ovation!! The Terrible Turk could care less, as he reclaims his gold money belt.

This match was a disaster from the start, as the bounty hunter ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER came out of nowhere and attacked MAGUM TA. Kowalski tried to help but found himself fighting the Powers of Pain. In the ring, Fuji slid a chair in the ring and the champ used it bashed sarge right in front of the referee!!!
