Exciting announcements! Can't wait to see how the Heenan/Monsoon commentary card will impact the game... Groundbreaking, without a doubt! The question posed by @kevinb and the corresponding answers provided by Mike M and Tournament Master were also very interesting... Definitely makes sense to wait until a wrestler has reached a certain state of inactivity before exploring the possibility of releasing a Legends card... As much as I would like to see Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and/or Tyler Black included as part of the Legends brand (naming just a few - obviously, AJ Styles would also make this list for me, but I don't think he's actually signed)... None of them would take precedence over the number of talented individuals that have yet to be released or receive an update from B&W to color... Like Sam Fain said - integrating indy cards with Legends is always an option. Thank you to everyone involved with making this podcast happen... Along with the Uncharted Territories hosted by the Legends team, this is an informative and entertaining supplement to the forums and official site... An awesome addition to the FG unviverse!

I for one am going to use Chris Masters in my Legends fed. He fits and I would enjoy doing the Masterlock Challenge there as Heenan talks about how powerful he is and Monsoon shuts Heenan down.

I definitely follow the logic, though my only concern is if you mix and match - is the indy stats too strong when put up against "Legends". Truy appreciate you taking my question Sam, and Mike and Todd for sharing their perspective on it. You guys are doing a great service for the community, keep rolling gentlemen.

All it's missing is the legendary banana phone.

I definitely follow the logic, though my only concern is if you mix and match - is the indy stats too strong when put up against ". “Too strong” obviously translates to “these guys shouldn’t be beating those guys” and this is the only part of LOW I have a hard time getting into. In COTG anybody can beat anybody and when it happens you don’t hear about so and so being too strong. You just hear about these memorable upsets in your fed. But in LOW if an Indy guy - let’s say Kevin Steen beats Lou Thesz. That might be frowned upon even though both are former world champions. Now if you have Luchasaurus or Fire Ant beating Vader I can begin to understand. But give me the Briscoes, Claudio, Tyler Black, Danielson, Omega etc all day. Modern legends. Should absolutely be in there with thr legends of old.

Should absolutely be in there with thr legends of old. This is precisely my way of looking at it... In my humble opinion, modern day Legends like Steen, Danielson, Styles, Moxley, Black, Jay Briscoe, etc. should match up evenly with Legends of past eras... That is the beauty of the game... Personally, I would not have a problem with any of these guys defeating anyone else at any given time. The problem might arise when you start pitting guys that have VERY successful indy careers that have not established themselves as true Legends in the eyes of a promoter... However, that issue could be avoided using your own judgement... If you feel that a certain indy wrestler's card is too potent than simply don't include him as part of your plans... For instance, I probably would not run a program like AR Fox vs. George Hackenschmidt or Sami Callihan vs. Buddy Rogers.

I'll just remember by "Who's the Best Lou" feud. I don't really mind, even though Tyler might be a shade stronger than I'd like for an indy card against Legends, Steen, Danielson and Styles all fit in fine.
