Not sure what you sold it for, but I'm betting there will be SEVERAL things that go for a HIGHER price. Right DKII?? Well I define "several" by at least 3 or 4 items and that would be awesome as it would be a great day for the Hall of Fame, so I hope you are correct. Edit: Also, as malicelover correctly said it was a straight sale without the opportunity to drive up the price unlike the items available at the auction. I just felt the offer was high enough that I could not turn it down. Vegas - it was the perfect price for it. It was a buyer who was new to the game that shares a home town with King Kong Bundy. Bundy was a favorite of his during his formative year of watching wrestling, and he already has in mind what to do with the card. He paid a generous price that both he and Vegas thought was fair, and possibly would have gotten more in the auction - but the problem is this: who is around that would want the Bundy card still currently? It recently went out of stock, and most attendees that would want the card probably already have it. It was a homerun offer, and to be frank, both the seller and the buyer were happy with the purchase, and in fact, the buyer was honored that 100% of his payment was going to the Hall of Fame! It's was truly a great day to be a promoter. |

If the Randy Bugdale Chaos art, as seen on FB, goes for anything less than $300 I will be totally surprised! There's a couple other things that should fetch close to that - bring Lori's purse Pete. You're gonna need it. 😉

You're gonna need it. 😉 @kevinb, I've seen the art, it is fantastic. I just meant more along the lines of a card. Tournament Master, have the guys from Legends of Wrestling, ever thought about auctioning off the right to choose one card in the next set or for Promoter Prime? I feel like that would fetch a big number too. That could be something I would be willing to open the check book for. |

We had discussed it, but in the end decided to hold off, as we didnt have much time in the schedule and was something extra to juggle with doing this hybrid con the first time. We are going to look at getting a guest for an upcoming full virtual con and for next year when we expect a bigger in person crowd. |
