Glad people are going to get some amazing cards. That Omega is definitely going to be tough.....a lot like Spike 91 from what I saw of him not necessarily the top in stats but a beast to take down...Infinity was definitely challenged (and Krakan almost beat him.....tournaments are weird )

So I’m not sure if I’m just coming off the high that is GCON but I have to admit that for a few years I thought that FG and the current community were kind of like survivors of a once epic time and space. Not over the hill but past it’s glory days maybe.
After this weekend my mind and heart has changed about that. Between the crazy amount of people there, raising 5K in the most amazing auction ever, the new 2137 set that is getting rave reviews and ALL of the non stop top shelf LOW sets coming from every direction etc etc FG and the community is feeling stronger than ever.
Really great to be part of it all and already cannot wait until next year.

Yeah I agree Rob! I left somewhere after the Aethran Overmaster set with life and stuff but glad I came back and I'm gonna be here till the end now. I could only make Friday stuff, wish I could have gone to whole thing.
I'm already blocking off time for Chicago next year!

Sorry to everybody for showing up late today and forcing Grant to take my hosting duties. I got home from work and was all set up, then decided to take a 45 minute power nap. Sadly that 45 minutes turned into over an hour. It was still a great weekend, and loved seeing everybody that showed up. Next year I plan to be in Chicago.

Will look forward to seeing you there Cman, let's see if we can set an attendance record and force every tournament to be 32 people.

Already seeing some tweaks we can make but I'll talk with Todd about that when he gets back home and improve things even more although it was a blast. Going to enjoy going back to live ones though. All of this. I will plan on attending future cons in person - unless health or act of God prevents me from attending.

This year was great!! It started off with my power going out after a nasty storm but the Tournament Mistress was kind enough to house me for the con! I got to talk to several people that I didn't get to talk to before besides through text or email. malicelover LAWraith Drew Mike Carpenter Vegas Brian V and many others. In addition, I got to rib Crossbones almost every round...Great fun! I have skimmed 2137 but plan on reading after I get the cards (and some sleep) but it looks sweet. The auction was crazy..I can't believe P3 went for $385 It's getting to the point where ppl have to start saving the moment the present one is over. Sorry for not chatting much today as I am feeling blechy but was enjoyable from what I was awake for (yes...I pulled a smoke this year ) TM and crew did an awesome job once again and I can't wait until GCON 2022: Conflict in Chi-Town!!

Unfortunately I was only able to log on briefly this weekend due to other commitments but I really enjoyed it, especially the announcement of the Memphis set. I am so excited for that one plus the International Ladies set sounds cool as well. I am also really looking forward to getting the T& T cards (Roddy Piper!) as well as Piper's Pit and that great looking Omega card.
It sounds like everyone had a blast with Galacticon 2021 and that's a good thing.
