I had to work from home and had to miss portions of this, but this weekend meant a lot to me. Tom's appearance as the Dark Menace will go down as a great memory and I had fun filling in for the tournament this morning.
I really hope to make next year in person but this is the second virtual con in these past two years that have injected a lot of magic and positivity into the community and sparked my creativity big-time. The FG Community is a really special one.

Did anyone else get amped for the Ringside Companion? I myself am looking to it incredibly! Does anyone have any hopes for what we might receive? I think the list that throwingtoasters made of official LOW matches is fantastic. I also would love to see the following: 1. Scaffold match 2. Bull rope match 3. Bunkhouse stampede 4. Something similar to a War Games concept. What other matches are you hoping for from an LOW standpoint? |

Drew, enjoy that glorious tournament win my friend!  I'm going to have to run that match-up myself, between Omega and Infinity, on Omega's career title tour, that was a heck of a match! Thank you Stu! It was an epic comeback! It reminded me of the match I had against Exo-King in the GWF tournament finals. I thought Great, I’m going to lose to my avatar. I guess it’s only poetic justice right? I think I was down 3 or 4 tokens and slowly fought back to win. Then as Troy mentioned, Krakan was putting a whooping on me and somehow I survived that round. I owe Swarm big time for the suggestion. I was caught off guard that this was THE tournament. I thought it was still the Canada Cup. Anyway I Look forward to reading how that battle turns out! I’ll be rooting for Infinity of course but your title tour is always a great read! It was great to talk to u a little, TK, Rex Havoc, Swarm, Jared B and I apologize if I left anyone out. I had a great time. This is an amazing community to be apart of. |

And I can say with some degree of confidence that we'll get #1 at the bare minimum. aCe had something called a Caged Battlefield Match which was WarGames-esque but I think was elimination by submission or KO. We need a stretcher and strap match, too. I wouldn't mind expanded rules for first-blood that go a little beyond "first to [x] tokens loses"--modifiers for weapons, shots to the post, etc. |

This weekend was my first Galacticon! Had lots of fun meeting new people here. Thank you Butcher for the MLW tix! Looking forward to meeting more of you all in the future. It was nice meeting you James. I like your enthusiasm for wrestling and the game. I echo the thanks to Kevin Butcher for the MLW tickets. It was a really good show. |

Yeah it's a lot to take in, but thanks to Todd & Mike for organizing the virtual component to G-Con again for this first time ever on site and virtual blended experience. It actually worked out quite well. In fact it felt like Todd & Mike were playing to the virtual audience so well that you were turning your back to the hard cam, live audience, on things like the auction. But in a great scene you had a young audience there to pump the room for each auction. |

I didn't get to show up for much (if anything) after Friday nights but I'm glad that I got to be part of the con virtually for the second time.
I'm beyond happy with what I did get to be there for, though: the reveal of the eighth name and the GCon exclusives. And! I got to see the art for Thunderbolt's card! Loved it.
Maybe next time I'll make it in person.
One can hope.

What a year for Drew. Winner of TWO new FTR creations (already seen his first entry and its killer). Omega vs Infinity was amazing! I’ll remember that match forever. A true 5 star classic and one memorable return to the COTG universe for Omega. Maybe he takes it next year. Congrats again to Drew and Infinity! |
