Pistons made a trade. They are getting Joe Harris (F) from the Nets and two 2nd round picks down the line. In return we are sending NOTHING. Talk about your one sided trades. In reality the Nets are opening cap space as they get Harris off the books. He can be a nice bench player for us if he sticks around and maybe be a threat from distance as we need 3point shooters. Plus we get draft capital to take his contract which is on it's last year. Still could sign someone if we want but not being near contention it might be best to wait.

On ESPN's web site they said "The Philadelphia 76ers have signed guard Patrick Beverley to a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers". Um, what team would they sign him to BUT their own.

After two Summer League games from the Pistons, I have noticed a pattern. Buddy Boeheim comes in, plays 5 minutes and makes 3 three pointers. He needed only 3 shots in the first game but 4 in the second game. That is some consistency lol.

Currently only 9 teams are above .500 and the Pistons are one. I am going to enjoy this while it lasts. Which won't be long lol.

Thru four games the Pistons have had an interesting pattern. In 3 of the 4 quarters of every game they have either outscored or tied their opponent. In the other quarter they were outscored. So while only 2-2 they are looking strong overall.

I have not been able to watch any of the games yet and maybe it is because they are a young team but they are getting called for WAY more fouls than their opponents and thus their opponents are going to the charity line a LOT more. That is where we are losing the games. Today was yet another game where the opponent went to the line almost twice as much, 41 for Philly and 22 for us, and so of course they score more than us, 35 to 18 which is 17 more, in a game we lost by 8. Pretty much every game we have lost the other team has had a 2 to 1 free throw advantage and the margin they outscored us from the line is more than what they beat us in the game.

Yet another loss. The funny thing is four of our players, three of them starters, had a + in scoring while Cleveland only had five players with a +. Tonight, was some poor shooting but we still are making too many fouls. Tonight, it was 19 to 9.

Pistons lost. Again. Man, they are trash this season. Still, it does not help when Anthony Davis attempts 13 free throws and the Pistons whole team attempted 14.

New team record for consecutive losses (15). YAY!!! My theory is someone in the organization hit their head and told the team to tank to make sure we can draft Victor Wembanyama. The concussion causing them to forget he was drafted this year.
