And, if you are looking for suggestions for a next legends spotlight I really think one on Ray Stevens would be dynamite, I would love to do a Ray Stevens spotlight. I fear I'd spend too much time lamenting the fact that we don't have more footage, haha. In all seriousness, some of the other guys that experienced their biggest successes pre-80s (in addition to the obvious Thesz, Rogers, etc) I would want to cover include Bull Curry, the Kangaroos (tho without color cards yet, we may hold off and hope...), The Spoiler, and Red Bastien - just for a start. We'd love to hear more suggestions. And, dare I say it, perhaps we'll have to run a poll at some point to determine the next name... Or hold a tournament Tournament MasterI love The Spoiler! Further then could we maybe get something on Bockwinkle. Plenty of footage available. Or if you want to spread out, Stan Hansen. I would love to hear you guys deep dive on him!

Would like a Spotlight on Ivan Koloff and The Vachons. That would be rad.

I'd so love to talk about Tricky Nicky.......I've managed to watch a lot of 70s AWA just for Nick, Ray and Crusher.

A little over halfway thru this episode and I'm really enjoying the spotlight on Macho Man - definitely one of my favorite Legends in the game.
Even though I don't play much COTG at the moment, I wanted to voice my opinion on the current situation with the Gladiators of Aethra... The war against Black Death seemed to take a fair bit of wind out of their sails and 2131 seemed to mark the beginning of their real decline... And as much as I love and respect his work, the current art for Overmaster is possibly my least favorite Werner piece... Time for a change? Oh, yes indeed.

Sam Fain - Since Mark James was announced yesterday as the winner of the Jim Melby Award for the TNTHOF this year, and he'll be in Waterloo, we'll have to ask his opinion on the Lanny & Savage team! (cheap plug!) A) That's a great idea! & B) That's great news! When I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago, he said he wouldn't be in Waterloo. Thrilled to know that's no longer the case. Such a great guy and a wonderful historian and preservationist. Well deserved on the award, for sure. He wasn’t fibbing to you! I just told him he was selected last weekend. I’m very excited to meet him.

Just finished listening and I want to thank you both, Sam Fain and Tournament Master, for delivering such an awesome tribute to one of the greatest performers to ever step into the ring. Just want to say a couple things... 1/ The look featured on his most recent Legends card is the one I like the best... Classic Macho Man and the one I grew up watching. 2/ Of all the amazing programs that he worked, Savage vs. DDP was actually my favorite... With that mentioned, I have to say that I would much prefer a new card for Page - featuring a younger look - than for Savage.

Even if the stats were exactly the same, a curly mulleted, ribs taped Page would be killer art with the Legends background. I wouldn't say no to that. And thank you! Really appreciate the comments.

With Piper no longer being a legend with the WWE, I am wondering if we have approached his family about signing a release. He is the legend I want the most.
