I do one token per match that they're "resting" in the locker room when other tournament matches are happening.

Fatigue is a real thing, just ask my hockey team VGK who lost 7-1 last night in Game 1 of Round 2 against Colorado (thankfully I was watching Double or Nothing instead) after taking 7 games to eliminate Minnesota 2 days earlier while Colorado had a week of rest after sweeping St. Louis in the First Round. So it is definitely understandable to account for fatigue.
But even so, I personally do not carry over any fatigue into the next rounds. I want my subsequent rounds to be as competitive as possible and I definitely don't want a Finals where the competitors are starting at PINs of something like 8 or 9. So I just disregard fatigue for tournaments. I basically do what Pariah said and have each competitor's fatigue nullify the other's (plus there is a difference when fatigue is between wrestlers who both just wrestled in the previous round compared to that hockey example at the start of my post of 2 days of rest vs 7 days of rest.)
However, I do not disregard fatigue for things like gauntlet matches, elimination matches, etc. For example tonight in my LOW fed, Big Van Vader successfully defended his EAWA Championship against Rob Van Dam in a panes of glass match, but his PIN went up to 5. Konnan then cashed in his EAWA Money in the Bank briefcase against a bleeding and tired Vader and Vader started the match with his PIN at 5 (but Vader still defeated Konnan despite that handicap.)

Competitive is also the reason I reset in my tournaments.

Competitive is also the reason I reset in my tournaments. Makes sense. I probably will keep taking away one token for each match, and also for interview segments. I usually have Gorilla and Heenan and then Solie and "Mean" talk during my tournaments. Usually things balance out well - usually.

For me it depends...if a guy (or gal) take ALOT of tokens (5 or more) then I give the wrestler half of the amount from the last match.
If its a Special Match Tournament (or for my Heavy Metal Title) then no matter how many tokens a wrestler carries over half from the last round (and I round down for half of odd numbers).

DK II, I started utilizing the one token removed per segment/match. I have liked the results so far.

Loved the “shoutout” from the guy at Roll Up to this thread. As a note, I used the suggestions from you all in my LOW (LNWA) tag team and National Title tournaments and it has worked very well!

I done a women's tag tournament and basically because they had matches to rest between competing I halfed what was carried over. So say someone earned 6 tokens they would carry over 3 into the next match For odd numbers I just went up. So 7 tokens would carry 4 over. Led to some interesting matches and upsets and a knockout. May not be everyone's cup of tea but worked well for me

I do it so a wrestler loses 1 point of fatigue for every match that happens between the wrestlers last match. Me as well
