After a few false starts with feds that never made it to the posting stage, I have finally settled on a project that seems to have legs. This fed will only use Legends Prime cards (hence the fed's name), and I only plan to use the ones issued as physical cards, beginning in 2016. I will be treating the LPW as an '80s style territory, with a 4-match TV show once a week and a 6-match house show once per month. The first house show will happen at the end of month 2, and it will feature the semifinals and finals of the inaugural heavyweight and tag team title tournaments. At some point after that, I will add a TV title as well. I plan to slowly build the fed, so some of the existing Prime cards will be held back for the future.
I haven't seen threads for any other feds that have taken this approach, so hopefully it provides something new. I have already played out the first eight cards and will be posting those in the coming days. I'm looking forward to the booking challenge of not having a deep bench of headliners, but there should be enough to make it seem like a solid territory.
I have begun a brother fed to this one called Indies Prime Wrestling (IPW) using the same approach, and I will soon begin a thread for that in the Indie Feds section. These feds will both make the Prime teaser announcements especially exciting for me in the future!
Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy the LPW!

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #1
Commissioner Bruiser Costa welcomed viewers to the LPW and promised exciting, but fair, wrestling action. Let's go to the ring...
"Bullet" Bob Armstrong defeated "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay
Armstrong used his Georgia Jawjacker to gain the pinfall, despite a solid effort from the very capable Jay. After the match, Armstrong talked with Gordon Solie and thanked the viewers for their support.
Alexis Smirnoff (with Boris Zhukov) defeated Jake "The Milkman" Milliman Smirnoff made quick work of Milliman and pinned him after a devastating piledriver. After the match, Smirnoff and Zhukov put the boots to Milliman to send a message to all other weak American wrestlers.
The Dream Team (Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and Brutus Beefcake, with "Luscious" Johnny Valiant) won by DQ over Too Much (Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor) The Dream Team was declared victorious when the referee caught Christopher holding a foreign object that had been dropped by Johnny V when the manager was ejected from ringside after interfering. Too Much cried foul, but after the match, Johnny V told Gordon Solie that it's a shame other teams always resort to cheating against his team. He said it's a good thing that he'll soon be bringing in a big star for the heavyweight title tourney, and he can help watch the Dream Team's back.
"The Patriot" Del Wilkes defeated Chris Candido The Patriot won a quick match after catching Candido with a Patriot Missile. But as the ref raised his hand, he was attacked from behind by Alexis Smirnoff and Boris Zhukov. The Russians were whipping and choking him with a chain as the show went off the air!

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling)TV #2 Gordon Solie opens the show with Commissioner Costa and The Patriot. The Patriot thanks fans for their cards and letters after last week's attack by the Russians. He assures viewers that he's OK despite some bruised ribs. Costa announces that he's signed a Patriot vs. Boris Zhukov match for tonight's main event. The Killer Bees (B.Brian Blair and Jumpin' Jim Brunzell) defeat George South and Kenny JayThe Killer Bees made an impressive LPW debut as Brunzell quickly pinned South after a reverse atomic drop.
The team of Too Much (Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor) is interviewed by Solie, and they use their time to call on Commissioner Costa for a rematch with the Dream Team after last week's miscarriage of justice.
Jim Dillon defeats Bob ArmstrongIn a big upset, Dillon beat Armstrong with an elbow drop (and a well-timed grab of Armstrong's tights during the pin).
Johnny Valiant strides to the interview area, makes fun of the "over the hill" Bob Armstrong, and tells Solie that even though the Dream Team has better things to do than grant rematches to underqualified opponents, they will be here next week to shut up Christopher and Taylor.
The Spoiler defeats Ric McCordThe debuting Spoiler dominates McCord and dispatches him with a Bionic Claw. "The Patriot" Del Wilkes defeats Boris Zhukov (with Alexis Smirnoff)Despite Smirnoff's failed attempt to interfere, The Patriot pinned Zhukov after hitting a Patriot Missile. After the match, Smirnoff jumped The Patriot from behind and both Russians started pummeling him, but Marcus Bagwell sprinted from the back and ran them off as the show went off the air.

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling)TV #3 The show opened with footage of last week's main event which ended with Marcus Bagwell chasing off the Russians after they attacked The Patriot. Commissioner Costa told Gordon Solie that he believes in settling scores in the ring, so tonight's main event is a tag team bout between the Russians and the team of The Patriot and Bagwell. Tiger Conway, Jr. defeats "Sodbuster" Kenny JayJay made a strong showing, but Conway the younger was victorious in his debut, thanks to a Flying Headbutt. The Dream Team (Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake, with Johnny Valiant) defeats Too Much (Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor)Too Much provided Valentine and Beefcake with a stiff challenge, but the veteran team proved too strong as Valentine forced Christopher to submit to a Figure 4 Leglock. After Christopher tapped out, Valentine kept the hold applied for a few extra seconds to teach the young team a lesson. After the match, Johnny V told Solie that his men are ready for better competition, and his new man will be too when he arrives in a few weeks.
Angelo Poffo defeats Jake "The Milkman" MillimanPoffo made his LPW debut and overcame a resilient Milliman to score a win with a neckbreaker. After the match, Poffo said he came to the LPW to face legends, not some of the flashy kids he's been seeing around here. He calls for a match against Bob Armstrong because Armstrong's a man who knows what he's doing in the ring. Armstrong came out to the interview area and accepted the challenge. Boris Zhukov and Alexis Smirnoff defeat The Patriot and Marcus BagwellThis grudge match led to some intense action, and after some interference from Zukhov when the referee's back was turned, Smirnoff nailed The Patriot with a heart punch and scored the pinfall victory. The Russians hurried out of the ring after their win and were greeted with a chorus of boos all the way back to the dressing room.

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #4
Gordon Solie opens the show by interviewing The Patriot and Marcus Bagwell, who vow to show the Russians that the U.S. is the greatest country on earth. They don't know when or where, but they say they will get back at them at their first opportunity.
The Killer Bees (B.Brian Blair & Jumpin' Jim Brunzell) defeat Chaz Taylor and Tug Taylor The Bees control the action against the father and son team before Blair beats Tug with a sleeper.
After the match, the Dream Team and Johnny Valiant stride to the interview area and say they've been looking for competition, so they challenge the Bees to a match next week. The Bees accept!
Jim Dillon defeats George South Early in the match, Angelo Poffo walks halfway down the aisle toward the ring and watches the action from there. He sees Dillon make a strong showing and pin South after an elbow drop. As Dillon walks back to the dressing room, he is joined by Poffo. Are these two men teaming up? Dillon beat Bob Armstrong two weeks ago, so maybe Poffo is seeking advice for his matchup with Armstrong later tonight?
The Spoiler defeats Tiger Conway, Jr.
The masked Spoiler continues his flawless run in the LPW as he crushes Conway with a rope-walk smash for the win.
Bob Armstrong defeats Angelo Poffo In a hotly contested bout, Armstrong pins Poffo after a bodyslam. After the match, Poffo grabs the mic and tells Armstrong that he's impressed. Poffo goes on to say that he's building a stable of ring veterans and there's a spot for Armstrong if he wants it. Armstrong hesitates, so Poffo says he'll be introducing another member of the group next week, and Armstrong can give him his answer then.
Tune in next time to see who Poffo's new man will be. Also look forward to seeing The Patriot and Marcus Bagwell in tag team action, plus don't forget about the main event, which will feature the Dream Team versus the Killer Bees!

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #5
The Patriot & Marcus Bagwell defeat Chaz Taylor and Tug Taylor The Russians weren't in the building for today's show, so The Patriot and Bagwell could concentrate fully on their opponents. They looked sharp throughout and The Patriot beat Chaz Taylor with a Star-Spangled Suplex.
Angelo Poffo strides to the ring and grabs the microphone to introduce the first, but not last, member of his group of old school wrasslers: Joe Blanchard!
Joe Blanchard (with Angelo Poffo) defeats Jake "The Milkman" Milliman Blanchard made short work of Milliman, quickly dispatching him with an abdominal stretch. After the match, Poffo bragged about Blanchard's performance, and he called Bob Armstrong to the ring to give him an answer about being the #3 man in his old school group. Armstrong walked to the ring, took the mic, paused, and said he's nobody's #3. Blanchard then jumped Armstrong, but Armstrong ducked and knocked down Poffo. As the combatants were separated, Armstrong yelled that he wants to face one of them in the ring next week; it doesn't matter who.
Chris Candido defeats Ric McCord Candido picked up a quick win with a Blonde Bomb.
The Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair and Jumpin' Jim Brunzell) defeat The Dream Team (Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and Brutus Beefcake, with Johnny Valiant) After a great, evenly matched contest, Blair pinned Beefcake after a Bee Sting. After the match, Johnny V told Gordon Solie that the loss was a fluke and his men will come out on top in the upcoming tag team title tournament. He also said his third man will be here next week and will instantly become the leading contender to win the LPW heavyweight title tournament.

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #6
Gordon Solie opens the show by telling viewers that the quarterfinals of the heavyweight and tag team championship tournaments will begin on next week's program, with the semifinals and finals happening at the LPW's big Night of Champions card, coming up in three weeks. Solie is joined at the announcer's table by The Patriot, who says that he will be entering the heavyweight tournament, rather than the tag team tourney. He says he has enjoyed teaming with Marcus Bagwell, but since he won't be continuing in a tag team, he has found a teammate for Bagwell, and they're about to make their debut...
2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Bagwell defeat George South and Jake "The Milkman" Milliman The new team looks impressive, as Scorpio beats South with The Diss That Don't Miss.
Steve Richards (with The Blue Meanie and Super Nova) defeats "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay Richards makes his LPW debut and beats Jay with a Stevie Kick after a competitive match. Afterward, Richards introduces his Blue World Order teammates, Blue Meanie and Super Nova, to the crowd and invites everyone to join them in a post-match celebratory dance.
After a break, Johnny Valiant joins Gordon Solie and says it's time for the debut of the man everyone has been waiting for... the future LPW Heavyweight champion, Ted DiBiase!
Ted DiBiase (with Johnny Valiant) defeats Ric McCord DiBiase lives up to Valiant's hype by quickly dispatching McCord with a neckbreaker.
Joe Blanchard (with Angelo Poffo and Jim Dillon) defeats Bob Armstrong Poffo and Dillon argue with Armstrong from outside the ring in the early stages of the match, and Blanchard catches the distracted Armstrong in an abdominal stretch to gain the victory. After the bout, Poffo introduces Dillon as the #3 man in his Old School stable and says he's an upgrade over Armstrong since Dillon beat him a few weeks ago anyway. Poffo goes on to say that he's willing to put the past behind him and still offer Armstrong the #4 spot in his group if he can win a match in the heavyweight tourney. Armstrong listens from outside the ring before turning and walking away.
Tune in next time for the tournament draw and the first quarterfinal matches!

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #7
The show begins with Commissioner Costa holding a drawing to determine tonight's quarterfinal matchups in the heavyweight and tag team tournaments. All of the wrestlers are gathered around either side of the ring as the drawing is held. The first name drawn is Chris Candido, and he looks happy and excited, but he's crestfallen when his opponent's name is drawn and it's The Patriot, who beat him handily on the first LPW show. They will face each other in tonight's first match. Other matchups tonight will feature Ted DiBiase vs Tiger Conway, Jr, The Dream Team vs The Blue Meanie and Super Nova, and The Killer Bees vs Angelo Poffo and Jim Dillon.
The Patriot defeats Chris Candido Candido was out of sorts from the beginning, and The Patriot picked up an easy win when he went for the cover after Candido missed a running clothesline and smashed himself into the turnbuckle.
Tiger Conway, Jr wins by DQ over Ted DiBiase (with Johnny Valiant) In a shocking turn of events, DiBiase, one of the pre-tournament favorites, is out after being DQ'd. He controlled the action in the match, but after he threw Conway out of the ring and attempted to distract the referee, Johnny V was caught hitting Conway with a foreign object. After the match, Valiant told Gordon Solie that DiBiase didn't come to the LPW to be treated so unfairly, and he'll make everyone pay.
The Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair and Jumpin' Jim Brunzell) defeat Angelo Poffo and Jim Dillon (with Joe Blanchard)
In a tough match that saw Poffo's face get turned into a crimson mask with 6 fatigue tokens, the Bees came out on top when Brunzell pinned Dillon after a Killer Dropkick.
The Dream Team (Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and Brutus Beefcake, with Johnny Valiant) defeats the Blue World Order (The Blue Meanie and Super Nova, with Stevie Richards) Johnny V's other tournament hopefuls, Valentine and Beefcake, fared better than DiBiase, as Valentine beat the Meanie with a Figure 4 Leglock, which he once again kept applied for a few extra seconds to intimidate future opponents.
Come back next time for the remaining quarterfinal matches!

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #8
The show begins again this week with a drawing to determine today's quarterfinal matchups in the heavyweight and tag team title tournaments. The first name drawn is Bob Armstrong, and he's matched up with... Joe Blanchard, who he just faced two weeks ago. Both men look pleased at the chance to renew hostilities. The other matchups are: The Spoiler vs Stevie Richards, Marcus Bagwell & 2 Cold Scorpio vs The Taylors, and Too Much vs The Russians.
Marcus Bagwell and 2 Cold Scorpio defeat Chaz Taylor & Tug Taylor The Taylors made a good showing, but Chaz got overexcited and crashed into the turnbuckle after missing a clothesline, resulting in him being rolled up by Bagwell for the pin.
Too Much (Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor) defeat The Russians (Alexis Smirnoff & Boris Zhukov) Christopher looked like a superstar, as he was able to effectively use his speed to combat the Russians' power. The match could still have gone either way, but The Patriot walked down the aisle, which distracted the Russians, allowing Christopher to hit Smirnoff with a standing legdrop. Much to the fans' delight, he pulled Smirnoff's tights to secure the upset win. After the match, the Russians ranted to Gordon Solie about the cheating Americans.
Stevie Richards (with The Blue Meanie and Super Nova) defeats The Spoiler The Spoiler had dominated all of his competition in the LPW so far, but the fun-loving Richards caught him with an early Stevie Kick out of nowhere and covered him for the 1-2-3. The Spoiler never knew what hit him. He'll be heard from again, but in the meantime, the Blue World Order enjoyed a post-match dance party in the ring.
Joe Blanchard (with Angelo Poffo and Jim Dillon) defeats Bob Armstrong The bad blood has been building for weeks between Armstrong and the members of Poffo's Old School stable. Before the match, Poffo grabbed the mic and reminded Armstrong that as soon as he wins his next match, he'll officially receive an offer to be the #4 man in the group. Armstrong responded by slapping Poffo and saying he'll never join. That dust-up jumpstarted a highly competitive match, but just like two weeks ago, Armstrong fell victim to Blanchard's abdominal stretch and submitted. After the match, Armstrong limped to the back, clutching his side, as Poffo, Dillon, and Blanchard mockingly waved goodbye.
Solie closes the show by announcing the semifinal matchups at next week's big house show, the inaugural Night of Champions, which is available on closed circuit at a great venue near you. In the tag team division, we'll see The Killer Bees vs Too Much and The Dream Team vs Bagwell & Scorpio. In the heavyweight division, we'll have The Patriot vs Conway, Jr and Blanchard vs Richards. The semifinal winners will meet for the championships at the end of the show! Tune in also for the LPW's weekly TV program next week, as Ted DiBiase, The Spoiler, Bob Armstrong, The Russians, and more will be in action.

Great concept for a fed. Heard about it on Lee’s podcast and I’m glad I checked it out. Bummed Spoiler lost (my favorite prime card) but I know he’ll be back. I’ll be reading!
