I just rolled that match (against Lenny Lane and Petey Williams) and that was actually the ending. In this case Lane rolled pin but nice to know it's a finisher for those two.

that second video is age restricted. Don't worry, Troy, you're old enough to watch. If you listen to the discussion on Commissioner Grogan's Backyard Brawl and then watch that video, it will make sense why I chose it. I get why YouTube might put an age restriction on this one but there is other stuff that should be restricted that isn't!

I listened to about an hour or so before I got sidetracked and had to take care of some other stuff. In regards to the supplemental cards like the announcers, refs, etc, I've always used them when it felt like an appropriate time. If I had a match that was part of a feud or I felt just needed to start off hot, I use Gary Cappetta because the card allows for matches to start off the way I want them to. If I need an interview where something might happen to further an angle, I've got the Gordon cards and the Apter cards. The refs I never really bothered with until I got the non-wrestler 4 pack and saw the Prime Time card has a roll where you assign a referee to the upcoming match. I wound up getting that roll twice on my Saturday Night show so I dug out the Todd Sinclair I helped with in an ROH set and the refs card from the 4-pack. Basically I just use them whenever I feel like they add to the match or segment I want to use them in and they're always there if I need them, but I don't feel like, forced or obligated to use them. I'd like more of those cards, honestly. I know that comes down to signings and stuff but seeing how well done these 4 cards were makes me want more of them!

Just started and can't stop laughing at Chad's reaction to the pronunciation of Rocca.
Just a side note, Buff Bagwell's longest reign as WCW Tag Team champion was his reign with Shane Douglas.

Yet another cool show. Nice weather we're all having. It's 76 degrees Fahrenheit and clear as I write this, just so we're all caught up to speed. How do you remember to use the supplemental cards? I keep them on the top of the stack of my "active" cards so they're always in mind. Then when I want to roll a show I set up the matches and intersperse them between cards that will be used in the match so I don't forget them. For instance, Vader vs Duggan and then Gordon is next in the stack, then Magnum versus Masked Superstar with Morgan Dollar in the stack, then Race versus Brisco with GMC. Love that Twin Peaks clip. Doesn't hold a candle to the pimp from another place though. http://instagram.com/p/CPAQ44LJif4

Concerning the supplemental cards, the ones I use that is- I will have them with the active roster cards! I recently started a "for real" fed and plan on using all four of the new cards that were just released.
Some of my better storyline early on, I did a AGE OF APOCALYPSE kinda thing where Mesmer was trying to stop a blackhole from enveloping the solar system. Of course, things went south and time shifted into a bunch of what ifs...Alpha Force was Morpheus's son and he battled both Thantos and Star Warrior. The CTA-102 group were heroes instead of the Titans and this was brought on by Titan virus bombing CTA-102...the Aethrans were universal headhunters and were hunting the Animen! If an Animen lost a Torture Chamber match, he was thoroughly dispatched...Justice went rogue, took law into his own hands (became Dark Justice before Tom picked up the mantle) and had nasty battles with both faces and heels. Mesmer was put into a mental hospital and was trying to convince his psychiatrists (Reginald Guile and Cole Lector) that there was an plane shift...it was really fun!
Another great story was I had Billy Boxer come back as William Boxer and convince Quasar and Scion that the GWF were racists and kept them down because of their skin color...resurrected my old Titan name of the Blackbirds for those two. They had a brutal feud against Titan Fury!!!
Some of the worse (but thought was cool) was Star Warrior vs. Vanity were butting heads with one another for control of Sweet Thing. During this feud, Sweet Thing became pregnant and was going to have twins. Somehow, one supposed belonged to Warrior and the other to Vanity. Vanity won the feud and it was revealed that the obstetrician was Guile in disguise!!! Sweet Thing wasn't pregnant and Guile used it to have SW and Vanity tear each other apart because he had a mad creepery stalker crush on Sweet Thing (before I ran Guile perving on Amazonia). So, Bounty Hunter was brought into the mix and I had a few Hunter/Guile vs. Star Warrior/Vanity with the Swerve being Sweet Thing cheapshoting Vanity for Guile to pin the flamboyant one.
Another bad one was Cycle Hog thought he was playgirl material with a little assist from Cannibal. Hog would start the match by stripping down to nothing but a speedo and wrestling with it all hanging out.
This totally upset Dynamo (because he was a male stripper prior to the GWF) and he battled the former sweaty Norse God. The matches culminated into a Battle at the Bakery match...unfortunately, it was an "adult" bakery and a few adult toys were used during the match.
They were fun at least...
Booking wise: I am learning the art of booking a story a lot better than in the past...I kinda picture where I want things to end and sorta book things to that...e.g. my PNW fed, I have been booking Stan Hansen fighting Adam Cole at the SCP 1st PPV and working things to get that big pay off build slowly.
In GWF, the roster is small enough that I play by win-loss record....in my FTR, I write whatever comes to my mind that I think would be fun...in my OEW, everything is results driven.
Enjoyed this show and I remember Paul Barnes boots back in the day as well
