Just a fun episode overall. Can't blame you for cracking up over the BBQ backyard brawl. Made me laugh thinking about it as well. What could go wrong? I really appreciated hearing about the booking styles and thoughts. As a big fan of HW boxing in the 80s and 90s and finding myself incorporating some of those ideas for building contenders within my wrestling fed, it was nice to hear that Stu has been successful using boxing as an influence for his promoting as well. Lastly, I liked Tim saying that initially he was all match ups and tournaments, but he realized he could get a great deal more out of the game if he applied himself and ran a fed fully. I am still figuring some of these things out, but it is encouraging to hear that someone as involved and experienced as he is with FG now had a learning curve as well in figuring out how to get the most from the game. Great show, guys.

This was a lot of fun to listen to, and I am in awe of the different booking styles mentioned. Fire up this podcast and have a listen. You'll get a big kick out of it. This crew deserves a round of applause and/or drinks for this one. Awesome stuff!

About the only exceptions are the old Barroom Brawl that was played at a mid-'90s Con and used a 30-sided die, and barnestormer's Satanic Skull Match which uses dice with a skull in place of the 1 but can be easily played with regular dice as well. Pete, I remember it took me weeks (maybe months) to find a 30-sided die just so I could play the Barroom Brawl! I went to comics and game shops in our city but couldn't find one for the longest time. I think Chad or a family friend found one somewhere and mailed one to me! The Barrom Brawl was a fun match! Even though Mike Fortune designed the match to be a team format with elimination rules, you could play it as a Battle Royal as well. I think Tim, Chad, and I once did it as a Battle Royal when we got together to watch the UFC in Detroit. I want to say that Mutant ended up the winner.

Loved this episode... you guys had me cracking up with the terrible angle ideas. I thought my early stuff was bad... backside implants tops all!

I loved hearing about everyone's booking philosophy and enjoyed this one a lot. Always a good listen when I roll out my own fed.

Love the discussion on booking as well. Always great to get some in depth talk on that and really loved Tim's feedback that he was just one off booking at the start, but once he saw what other players were doing it made the game click! Just goes to show how much the community is a key aspect of this game.
Also way to go stu making progress on your Danish, meget godt.

Thanks for another great show! I appreciate all of your different approaches to booking and look forward to hearing more.
In reference to the new 4-pack, I used the new studio show card for one of my Tri-State Championship Wrestling fight cards (posting results soon!) and enjoyed how it played out. I felt like a kid again watching Prime Time. I won’t use it for every card, but will have a studio show as part of my rotation.
