So much great action all around TTX. I know Pariah had to love Vampiro over Stan Hansen, however I would have enjoyed the opposite result

Thanks. Lots planned once certain things are sorted.
Hansen and Vampiro will likely see each other again.

Dick Hutton won a limp victory by disqualification after Abdullah the Butcher choked him out with a cable on the floor. Hutton looked good early but once Abdullah took control, it looked like victory was his. He grew frustrated though when Hutton kicked out of the Meat Cleaver and tossed him to the floor where the Butcher wrapped a cable around Hutton's neck and choked him until the referee had seen enough and called for the bell. Abdullah dropped another pair of Meat Cleavers before leaving.
Great Gama crushed Ted DiBiase (BG) with a pair of Gama Throws. DiBiase wanted this match but Gama just toyed with him, tossing him around the ring for a bit before hitting his Gama Throws. DiBiase managed to kick out with some authority after the first one but the second knocked him cold. After the match, Terrible Turk came and assisted Gama with a quick brutal attack injuring DiBiase for one fight card and the two laughing their way to the back.
Killer Kowalski edged Manny Fernandez with the Kowalski Claw. Fernandez dominated and had several near falls but Kowalski managed to escape each time. Late in the match, Fernandez tried a top rope splash only for Kowalski to raise his knees. From there, Kowlaski clamped on the claw to win.
In a 2 Falls to 1 Challenge for the World Title (Gotch must win twice before Dogg wins once) Frank Gotch held off Redd Dogg with two Gotch Toe Holds. Gotch toyed with Redd Dogg in the first fall before finally getting a submission with the Gotch Toe Hold. In the second, Dogg went all out and nearly pulled the upset with an STO but eventually Gotch regained control and clamped on the Toe Hold and Dogg was out and referee James Beard called for the bell.

Always enjoy seeing the Great One in action... When he defeated Andre in my fed, I thought... Oh yeah, this guy is going to dominate everyone... It hasn't really worked out that way, but I have a lot of fun with his character... Awesome stuff!

Gama is always a guy I enjoy using. Circumstances prevented a Vintage Rules match, but I think next card will be all vintage rules matches...and then we'll check on Styles and Vampiro's battle after that.

In a special challenge match, Jerry Lawler bested Andy Kaufman (with Jimmy Hart and The Quebecers) when Kaufman was disqualified for throwing powder into Lawler's eyes. As Lawler tried to recover, he was nailed by Jimmy Hart's Cane and then double teamed by the Quebecers while Kaufman and Hart egged them on until the British Bulldogs made the save and Teddy Long announced Quebecers vs Bulldogs as the next match.
The British Bulldogs bested The Quebecers following a Davey Boy piledriver on Jacques. Pierre took a beating but the Quebecers still nearly pulled off the upset until finally Davey Boy finished off Jacques. Jimmy and Andy tried to attack after the match but an angry Lawler came in and threw fire sending everyone scurrying for cover.
Vintage Rules Fights Tommy Gilbert surprised Terrible Turk via countout. Gilbert had a good run but it looked like Turk was finally turning it around when both wrestlers crashed hard to the floor. Gilbert managed to roll back into the ring but Turk who had hit face first was out cold and the referee counted him out giving Gilbert the surprise win.
Rod Fenton crushed Tiger Conway Sr. after smashing him with a beer bottle. This was very quick as a Boston Crab and then the bottle smash knocked Conway loopy and Fenton held him down for the three count.
Great Gama bested Steve Williams by disqualification when Williams shoved Gama to the floor. Williams looked like he had control of the match but his temper for his partner being injured got the best of him and he just shoved Gama hard to the floor. Dick Woerlhe took exception to this and called for the bell.
In an elimination match Ray Stevens eliminated George Hackenschmidt with the Crippling Piledriver. Lou Thesz knocked off Harley Race forcing him to submit to a hammerlock. Thesz put away Stevens with the Greco-Roman Backdrop. Frank Gotch was counted out after Bobby Heenan held his leg preventing him from returning to the ring in time. Nick Bockwinkel counted out after crashing onto Bobby Heenan while Thesz rolled back into the ring.
Thesz secured a future title shot against Gotch.

Too bad my Quebecers couldn't get past those pesky Bulldogs... Foul play, I think... Not to worry - I'm certain Jimmy Hart will straighten things out... HA!
Enjoyed Lightning Rod's win over Tiger Sr... And Gotch vs. Thesz will always produce... Fun times!

Wild Bill Irwin upset Magnum TA with the Float Kick. Irwin just was rolling and Magnum missed a splash that gave Irwin the final advantage he needed. He used the bullwhip to choke down Magnum and then hit the Float Kick to win. Powers of Pain bested Stars and Stripes when Warlord pinned Patriot after the Elevated Clothesline. It looked like Patriot had things going his way but he missed a flying tackle from the top rope. Barbarian and Warlord then performed their finisher and Bagwell was unable to get into the ring in time to try a save. Dan Severn bested Scott Irwin by disqualification when Irwin got disqualified for tactics on the floor as he repeatedly rammed Severn into the ringpost before choking him with a cable. After the referee called for the bell, George Tragos appeared and suddenly caught Irwin with an arm scissors. Irwin managed to finally escape and flee. Teddy Long announced on the next show Severn and Tragos would battle The Long Riders. D'Lo Brown shocked King Kong Bundy with a swinging side slam. This was impressive as Bundy started early with an Atlantic City Avalanche but Brown survived that and worked over Bundy before somehow lifting him in a side slam and covered Bundy for the pin. World Tag Team champions The Midnight Express finished off The Barroom Brawlers when Eaton dropped Crusher with a top rope elbow. This was a wild match and both teams had chances to win but Cornette kept his boys safe long enough for Eaton to catch Crusher with a big elbow while Condrey held off Fargo till the referee counted three. (Pretty sure Sonny Fargo was refereeing judging how Jackie was doing on DQs ) Frank Gotch retained the World Title over Lou Thesz in a Vintage Rules match by just putting him away after an Iowa Backdrop. Gotch and Thesz was a very close match. It looked like it could possibly go to a draw but Gotch was determined and took advantage of a late reversal to turn it into an Iowa Backdrop and cover. Thesz lifted his shoulder but it was a quarter of a second too late as Gotch retained the World Title.

Awesome main event! Very cool that those two Legends were able to bring out the best in each other.
Looking forward to Severn & Tragos vs. the Longriders... Gotta think T.A. will be watching that one closely as well.
Fun stuff, as always!

In a surprise, a bloody Iron Mike DiBiase upset Abdullah the Butcher with a Top Rope Knee to Back. Butcher used all his brutal methods to try and cripple DiBiase who with the support of his fellow Dads at ringside (who did not get involved in the match) came battling back and hit the big knee for the surprise three count.
Nick Bockwinkel toyed with Jake "The Milkman" Milliman for a bit before putting him away with the Bockwinkel Sleeper. Nick quickly put Jake down with a move off the ropes before dropping two knees from the top and then clamping on the Sleeper to which Milliman immediately submitted. Nick then interviewed with Gordon Solie and announced he was challenging Frank Gotch to a future match.
World Tag Team Champions The Midnight Express edged The Rock and Roll Express when Condrey pinned Gibson after the Face First Leg Sweep. This could have gone either way. The tag team clinic was great and in the end, Condrey stole the pin. After the match, The Fantastics appeared and attacked both teams.
Frank Gotch retained the World Title in a strong match over Stan Hansen after turning the Lariat into a crossface while barring the arm. Gotch dominated early but somehow Hansen escaped the Toe Hold barely. He then made a big comeback with two Lariats but a third was turned into the crossface.
