Another Great Episode...love hearing the Club Galactica Super Report reviews...especially from a good portion of the team that was there during the time they were published. Even with the "friendliness" at the end of the episode I have a feeling the Mark & Matt "fun" is far from over!  |

I meant to mention this the last time the Norse Gods were talked/complained about, but with the incredulity at their #2 ranking in these issues I'll mention it here: Tom's a well-read guy and a guy who knows his mythology. Why did the Norse Gods not have actual Norse God names? Or at least Nordic names? Actagon and Proteus were not Greek gods but those were at least clearly names of Grecian origin. Maybe the cards would have held them back anyway but they really did come off as phonies if they couldn't even be bothered to be...y'know, Loki and Tyr or something.

I'm too geeky but Proteus is actually a Greek god name (a minor one but indeed it is)
What I never really got about MM and Lightning is why Lightning's name was misspelled for so many years.

they really did come off as phonies if they couldn't even be bothered to be...y'know, Loki and Tyr or something. They were phonies. They weren’t real Norse Gods. They were escaped prisoners from an insane asylum. |

Gentlemen, this episode was fantastic! The teasers about more big names coming to the T&T Set was exciting to hear. It is kind of like you already have the sale and you are just continuing to sweeten the deal!
Unrelated, Chad, cannot wait to read your platform match rules. Might have to break that out for my special match title at my second PPV!

Such a fun listen again down memory lane.
Nice call out there Stu on the Christian Eriksen collapse on the pitch. It almost feels like we're in the same world here when big news here is being reported on in the states.

Listening to this episode was another fun trip down the Club Galactica memory lane... I remember starting a story about Galactic Punisher before he left the intergalactic police force to start his wrestling career... And my brother (who casually played the game from time to time and is one amazing artist) created some artwork of Punisher in plain street clothes to go along with it... Wish I knew what happened to it.
Just wanted to thank you guys for putting the time and effort into this podcast... It's always great fun to listen.
