We get a Wraith mention lol. Really cool hearing about the history. Realized my first con was the debut of nGo. I seem to have lost the set though Listening now before heading into work and will finish on way home. Still have my copy of GWF FILES 2!

I also think I realized I have actually been to three in person Gcons. I totally forgot I ran down with a friend for the Saturday portion of one con because I got Lycosa. I also was at the one where we went to Ilio Dipaolos cause I remember going there and then i went to the one where iron hand was revealed and filmed the Saturday portion of the con!

Pretty cool rundown of GalactiCon history. 2003 with Johnny Valiant was my first year (Johnny Diamond & the Diamond Vixen were there that year as well)

I can confirm (as he beat me in that tourney) that it was the CPC version. 2004 might be my favorite year. BTW, yes I beat TournamentMaster both years.

I listened to this episode today at the gym.
I enjoyed hearing about the Galacticons up to 2005, it was very informative for me since I did not start attending Galacticon until 2015 (I have made every Galacticon since however and a couple of nights ago I bought my flight ticket to Philadelphia for this year's Galacticon.)
Although they all sounded great, 2004 was one year in particular that I wish I could have attended. Speaking of 2004, that was the year Early Classics was released which I really enjoyed. I can't wait until those years get released in color.
Looking forward to next week's podcast about the Galacticons from 2006 through the present.

Oh as an art collector hearing those prices for the art auction made my jaw drop in astonishment. Of course it was a different time and now I feel people have a better idea at why those pieces have value.
