I hear both of you and understand where you're coming from. I guess the word I'm looking for is satisfied, it never seems the LOW community, not all, is satisfied with what they have. Hence, we are in the MEMPHIS set thread and talk has already begun for what's next. Speculation is fun, for sure, but not at the cost of not appreciating what you have. I totally get how you could see it that way. Personally, I buy everything LOW-branded and a whole lot of the Indies-themed stuff because I love the game and I am committed to supporting FG to the best of my ability so any speculation or daydreaming about wrestlers I'd love to get in a set is a moot point. I'm picking it all up, regardless. Man, I love this game. |

AJ I totally agree with you. I like new cards, but hey I am totally satisfied. Ive gotten so many cards now is pretty much ridiculous. But I enjoy all of them a lot. i thank Filsinger for all the cards.

I'm picking it all up, regardless. Man, I love this game. We all love this game; the passion in this community is second to none. I have 35 years of picking up EVERYTHING Filsinger Games and won't be stopping any time soon. I don't believe my point is moot, in the fact that the speculation is in the MEMPHIS thread. If it was a thread about LOW WHAT'S NEXT, I'd buy it. |

To be fair, none of us technically have the Memphis set yet so... That helps my point from my original post. How can I say this in the most diplomatic way possible...? No matter how I say it, I know I'm going to get FLAMED - so here goes. This right here is what sets the COTG universe apart from the LOW universe. We haven't even got the Memphis set in hand yet and talk has already started about WHAT'S NEXT or possible future themes and names. It seems to me; you can never really enjoy what you have now if you're always looking ahead to what's next. Let the pile on start, I'm ready. |

Thats why I cant run a promotion. I have too many cards I like, I mean just about all the LOW cards that come out I really like. I like thMemphis version. Havent gotten the new ones just yet did like the last version in B/W version.

I had this thought the other day as well. Much like Poffo, if not now when? Atlas wasn’t in WWF set last year and was Tommy Rich’s partner. Hmmm… I wonder if it could be that there's some provision in his agreement from the black and white days that prevents it. Maybe, because he drew his own art for the black and white set, he can't be released with art by anyone else and either can't or won't do a color version? I don't know, I'm just speculating. ..... I believe you nailed it. I'm pretty sure the card was contingent on him drawing the thing and was just a fun one-off. If there was a possibility of a new card the "New York" expansion would have been the time. Anyway, I already debuted the Moondogs in my game, doing a run in to attack Thunderbolt. I was expecting them to arrive a little sooner than scheduled now, so I suppose I can just break out these really good bootleg cards some guys who are pretty good at doing card stats did years and years ago in the b/w era and just have them do a squash match this week.👍 Gonna hold off on the Fabs for a proper debut though. Anyone else have plans for these cards right off the bat? Which ones? |
