Got my tickets today to go to the big NYC debut at Arthur Ashe Tennis Stadium. Going with James L who was at Gcon this year. Hoping for a big match for the hometown boy Eddie Kingston. I must say Ticketmaster is the worst. I just wanted the best $100 seats, but it makes you choose specific seats, which of course when you cluick on them are no longer available. Settled for $40 upper deck. Then went back in and was actually able to get the original seats I wanted. Needless to say if anyone needs tickets let me know, I have 2 extra.  |

The going speculation is that this show will feature the in ring return of Bryan Danielson. Man, I really hope thats the case. I hope AEW runs Omega vs Christian before Punk and Bryan get involved in the title picture. Only so much room to go around at the top. Its getting really crowded really quickly. Christian and Omega have been teasing a match a few times and it hasn't happened yet. Christian also is still undefeated and is in the top 5 contenders now, so I can see it happening logically. , just not sure when. I dont see Punk and Bryan getting into the title scene righty away due to the rankings. But come 6 months from now I can see them both in contention. The G1 tournament runs September 18 to October 21. Originally I thought Danielson might compete there, but given the quarantine rules in Japan I dont see it happening. But I fully expect Danielson in NJPW for Wrestlekingdom and next year's G1. |

I don’t know about CM Punk, but I kind of feel like titles aren’t really important to Bryan Danielson (man, it feels good to say that). I think he wants to put on great matches and tell great stories with great wrestlers, and I can totally see him putting over some really hot AEW guys. (Maybe not Jungle Boy or Orange Cassidy, but Kenny Omega? Sure!) At least that’s my impression. I could be wrong. |

Oh man, now that you mention the possible matchup, I can't wait for Danielson vs. Cassidy. Danielson is an awesome comedy guy when he wants to be.

I would like to see AEW be more character driven and less like a check list of things the real persons behind the characters want to do - if that makes sense. I get that the real life Big Show, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Christian and Bryan’s want to do - but what would the characters want to do? Would the American Dragon come to AEW and not want to be the best? Same with Punk. You would think these characters would be power hungry. The Big Show doing nothing isn’t really what you would think the Big Show character would be. Not sure if any of this makes sense lol |

They just announced that this taping will feature a 2 hour Dynamite and a 2 Hour Rampage taping. Stacked lineup too. Can't wait!
