I wonder if these new signings change plans with Page. Will they come in and put him over? Or will Punk and Bryan fight Omega and Cody for the AEW title? Hard to imagine these guys coming in and not becoming champion. |

From my understanding, Punk wasn't so much as interested in money, as he was story telling and wrestling was important too. I feel his frustration and what he must have went through with WWE, not exactly the best in either detail. Tony Khan must be a silver tongued devil to be so convincing to get him interested? At any rate, with Danielson, He's getting more creative control, wrestling in Japan and a nice pay day, so it's a no brainer there for him. Again, Championships are nice, but these two guys are driven by different motivations. They've made their money, they want something more. Wrestling. Entertaining stories.
It will be interesting to see what they do. Guess we'll find out, huh?

I hope Page is the one to get it. Not in his first attempt, but we shall see. Gonna be hard to keep those two outta the title picture.

He was smart n waited to see how AEW was being run. Also prob realized it’s now or never w his age. I couldn’t imagine a world where he would’ve wanted to go back to WWE. He know what a shit show it has been. Also, being the most over guy in the company (w/ Brian) & being eliminated by Corporate Kain (in RR) who may have been winless for over a year. Being placed in a worthless WM match w Triple H. Having to lose to a part time / wrestler n full time actor actor. Serving him papers on his
