I’ve been running tournament matches to crown a new SAGA World Champion, and one of those was John Pesek vs. Ox Baker. Since running Douglas out of my fed, I went with advice of people here and turned Ox heel. Since then, he’s put on the shelf Regal, Whipwreck, Donst, and recently his former partner Crusher. Then he ran into Pesek.
The match started out normal and Ox nearly scored a fall after about 10 with the Heart Punch, only for Pesek to barely kick out. Ox then went for another Heart Punch but I rolled 11 for Pesek. Now I have a house rule in my fed where if the defender rolls 11-12 off a finisher and is not pinned or submitted, he instead counters and the attacker now rolls on Level 3 Defense.
And that’s what happened. Ox rolled down-3 and Pesek proceeded to lock one arm or wrist lock after another. Finally Ox left the ring, with both men getting counted out. I decided that Pesek was so irate about the heart punch that he locked the wrist lock and held on, even as Ox fell to the floor, and he didn’t even hear the count.
So now my question is, do you think there should be a point where Pesek slips into Enforcer Mode in the middle of a match, like either if the face opponent scores too many near wins or the heel opponent gets in too many cheap moves?
What do you think?

Short answer: It's up to you, promoter!
Long answer: That isn't really the intention for the enforcer mechanic. He acted as enforcer for Strangler Lewis, helping to keep the belt on him and away from rival promoters' challengers. BUT if you want to find your own creative use for the mechanic, more power to you.

True, though I also read that he sometimes went off=script and did thing his own way. Still, the match with Ox had me wondering if he might occasionally lose his cool and just outright injure the opponent.
