The Adorable gimmick was just terrible even if Adonis threw himself into it like everything he did. For me as I call Wilkes Patriot (and would simply call Trooper Trooper) that's not an issue to me. Konnan honestly is the hardest when it comes to that. But, I guess my question is did we think Adrian Street's gimmick was terrible? If we hate the gimmick because it is ripping off Adrian Street, then sure, I'd agree it was a terrible gimmick, TTX. But, is the issue because it is so different from his original biker gimmick? I can say that I would be more in love with "Biker Adrian" if we had a Jesse The Body Ventura card to pair him up in a team. Adorable Adrian was more of a singles wrestler in my mind, and would get more use. So if we know anyone who knows Ventura and we can get him signed, then by all means, Biker only Adonis is all I need  I agree the different Konnan is a tough pick. I like him more in the PP we got, and Buff is just meh to me. |

I guess my major issue with the "Adorable" gimmick was that it seemed like Vince just wanted to have an "Adrian Street" type, and Adonis was already appropriately named. I was a big fan of him in the biker gimmick and to see the quick and quite radical "shift" to this hyper-opposite persona, just didn't do it for me. I also thought the whole "relax with Trudi" briefcase thing was oddly never really paid off. I've heard people's explanation of it, and how it supposedly led to the transformation to "Adorable", but I don't think any of that was ever explained on TV. I'm not opposed at all to our getting that card, it was a significant gimmick for the time that Adrian used it... It just wasn't my fave. On another note, although I would love to get Ventura, my preferred partner for Adonis would be Dick Murdoch... |

Murdoch and Adonis were amazing. I've watched some of their Japan stuff...top notch.

Hard choice between Buff and Konnan for me. I don't expect him to win but my vote went with Konnan since I have some plans that would more immediately make use of this card.
I might use The Trooper at some point but would probably never use Adorable Adrian.

So what time exactly is the Konnan card coming from? His color card is the Lucha style, ring gear and all. So isn't this colorizing his original b&w card that was his NWO time? |
