Stranger would be tough as it was such a short lived gimmick. Troy, I felt the same way that the gimmick was too brief, but I was really surprised at how many matches of his I found on YouTube. I was just thinking that if Buff can’t find more traction on these polls, it might be nice to give the Stranger a chance. (But I am also a complete fan of Midnight Rider, Charley Brown, Dirty Yellow Dawg, et al and all the masked identities, so that is how my brain works.) |

I know it might seem odd... BUT how about if we worry about getting the folks who DON'T have color cards done yet before we worry about altar egos for most these guys... OR, at least focus on altar egos that are truly a different persona and not a tiny niche moment for some of these guys... having said that, i voted the Trooper because at least it's a somewhat identifiably different persona for Wilkes... Would rather just double down on the unreleased or upgradeable names on the other 2 polls...
Sorry, I know its not a hugely popular view, but with so many amazing names still hanging out in limbo, it's pretty hard to get excited about any of these 4... and making me wonder in general about the usefulness of Promoter Prime for me personally...

OK, rant over, thanks for your ears, lol There always seems to be so much debate in LOW I really wonder if a different release model would work better. I understand the fear of new signings drying up like in the past. It’s a gamble but a lot of things in business are gambles and you go in with a plan. If we colored every remaining b/w card, and carded every possible at ego along with releasing all existing signed wrestlers it could create legendary momentum too. Imagine the energy we get when a new list of names is about to be dropped every few months but expect now it’s a daily or weekly occurrence. New names and new cards being added to the batch constantly. We did something like this on a smaller scale w Indy cards in the past. ROH would run a big angle w AJ Styles or Elgin and we would have a card in the machine almost overnight. Creating the initial pool of cards would take a considerable amount of time as is, but there would be a firm plan in place with a end goal in mind. Once every b/w card was colored we move to alts. Once all the alt ego cards are finished and available for purchase we start adding new names. FG-LOW would be cranking out content at a rapid pace of both LOW and Indy cards. I can definitely see the risk involved of names drying up but I also see the potential huge rewards in every facet. And eventually there would be no more debates about who gets a card next and when. The focus instead would be strictly on new signings and updates. I imagine referrals would be strong using this model too. Anytime you want to buy cards you have hundreds to choose from. A new buyers paradise. Bundle as many as you want. Veteran players would be able to build their feds exactly how they like with and without the guys they want to push. |

So far, the number of color cards for guys who already have color cards makes this year's Prime a lot less appealing to me than previous years. Going forward, I'd prefer to see an emphasis on colorizing cards based on the years of their original b&w cards. Free Buddy Rose! 😎 |
