has anyone else ever had the situation which i know find myself in,with a champion who you feel is not quite championship material, virgil is now my feds champion. i always play legends straight down the line and let the dice decide the fate of my fed, which is a non story line run fed, but virgils shock title win, just doesnt sit right alongside the list of my past champions.

I haven't been in this situation in a long time but back in my COTG days, if I had a fluke champion, I'd immediately schedule a #1 contenders tournament and load it with guys I thought were championship material.

I had Greg Valentine win the World title once, which disturbed me deeply.
The Killer Bees as World Tag Team Champions wasn't real thrilling, either. The Armstrongs had gotten lucky enough to get a World Tag Team title shot against The Ortons and won, and were pretty obviously outmatched against the top teams but stayed lucky for a little bit.
Those three are probably the worst of it for me.

I don't know, isn't it fun to have such a surprise champion? Hs reign won't last long.
Look at WCW before they folded. They had actor David Arquette!

Buff Bagwell won my World Title, in a legit Texas Death Match, from Bobo Brazil. Thankfully he lost it to Frank Gotch at the next pay-per-view.

Just so everyone knows, no, I did not create a duplicate account under Tommy's name. ;D For those of you that don't know I had a two brand fed with NWA and WWF PPV's. Iron Sheik and Valentine won the world titles. I did not play Legends for a year.

Cowboy Bob Orton and Koko B. Ware each beat Giant Baba for my LWF title. Ware won his first defense and lost the second to Bockwinkel and all was right with the world. Orton successfully defended six times before dropping the strap, including a three way against Harley Race and Sabu.

Yeah, I had a problem with DLJ winning my world title, because I think he's so dull he ought to come with a warning not to opperate heavy machinery under his influence. Ultimatly, it was my fault, because I put Don Leo in a place where he could challenge for the title. Even in a non-story driven fed, you always have the option of not giving guys who you don't want as champions in title matches.

I had DDP as a champ once (played a local try hard guy who finally won the gold). Yeah, he dropped the belt at the next rematch.
