Tim, Thank you for the great description of what park golf is. I kept hearing you mention it and was wondering what it was and if it was different from regular golf. Sounds like it is a lot of fun to play. Yeah, it totally sounds like my kind of golf. I always liked pitch and putts and shorter courses. This sounds really unique and being under an hour is a big plus. Definitely has me thinking about how to incorporate it into a future con.

I don't even play golf and I think I'd try a round of park golf.

For some reason, I was not able to download this episode on my first attempt but I was able to download this episode at the airport. So I will be listening to this newest episode of Unchartered Territories on my flight home to Las Vegas (the plane is boarding now.)

Also, stu, thanks for the recommendation of Kentucky Fried Rasslin’. Definitely my kind of podcast. It's really good stuff Grant, great history, told with a passion about the subject. Pretty funny at times too! Still haven’t finished the podcast, but I love any time the KFR podcast is recommended or brought up. I didn’t have much or any exposure to Memphis wrestling when I was younger, but I always give credit to the passion of Travis H and Scott Bowden for really making it one of my favorites now. I’m still really hopeful that a FG card will happen for him someday with Memphis now getting its own spotlight set. The podcast is always enjoyable and sometimes silly—See the Mil Mascaras mystery—but has some great history, interviews, and sound clips about Memphis.

Zeke, appreciate the committment, and here's hoping you enjoyed it on your flight! I unfortunately did not get to hear this episode on my return flight because there was too much airplane noise (perhaps I was sitting too close to the engines?) but I did get to listen to this episode this morning at the gym and I could hear everything fine. I really enjoyed this episode. I especially liked the discussion of the special match charts as I am currently working on deathmatch charts for the upcoming deathmatch set and I really enjoy creating special matches. In Waterloo, I briefly saw the prototype for the upcoming Ringside Companion and I was very impressed with it. I heard my name mentioned at the end of this episode (thank you Tim!) and I definitely do go to alot of shows (in fact since this episode was recorded I actually went to 4 more shows this past weekend in Chicago.) Going to shows is one of my favorite things to do.

Really enjoyed the episode. Park Golf sounded very interesting on its own and fun to play, but then when Tim mentioned the Destroyer "museum" / memorabilia there, it is now on my short list. I keep thinking I need to combine that with Ilio DiPaolo's restaurant on the same road trip. Obviously there are some interesting general sites in that area, but, (question for Tim), any other spots near there with some wrestling connection worth seeing?
Enjoyed the discussion on the specialty matches. I, too, have the three ring binder full of them in the hopes of getting to try them out soon, but so far have mainly enjoyed listening to the specialty matches Grant has been playing on the Filsinger Fans podcast until I can make some time for them or I get the new Companion. 👍
Spend too much time on wrestling podcasts, but Stu's basketball suggestions might have to make the playlist and favorites as well. Thanks for all the info, guys.

Really enjoy the embedded videos as they really help contextual the conversations and now I have a much better understanding of Park Golf after watching the video.
Also great to have you back Stu after missing last week!
