To me the mic work of BC Gold is meh. They need to add someone with mic skills be it another wrestler or a manager. Jericho, Edge, Christian and Matt Hardy would all make excellent managers imo. Need more aging stars transitioning to manager roles with solid stables. Could really help get a lot of the young talent in AEW over. Back in the day you knew how important a new wrestler was simply based on which manager they signed with. News more of that in modern wrestling. So true. In fact, in some ways all four have shown that over the years. Plus, nothing says they have to completely give up their in-ring career. We have seen mangers, like Bobby Heenan for instance, in the past join they men for tag or six-man matches. The difference here is the manager would not just by any former wrestler but a main event level wrestler.

Let their manager shenanigans get them into trouble and situations that can only be settled in the ring, but keep it rare and special. A WarGames Match where Edge’s faction takes on Matt Hardy’s faction and they both get in the match for example.

Jericho needs to replace Ross on commentary. Just don't turn JR heel and make him the manager for the Bang Bang Gang!

Some interesting things have been brought up here.
Sure NXT drew better than AEW this week, but it doesn't really matter since the shows weren't head to head. Next week it'll be interesting to see of they both pull comparable numbers to this week or do they cannibalize the existing rating numbers for Tuesday Night. This past week was AEW was up against several elimination MLB games. Ratings always seem to drop in Wrestling whenever one of the big four sports are in the playoffs.
I agree that AEW should start transitioning their older talents into more limited manager type roles. Both the Inner Circle and JAS should have turned into this for Jericho, especially the Inner Circle, but sadly for AEW during the Inner Circle days they needed his name to help try and build up the brand in fans eyes, which is why he was a great choice to be the inaugural AEW World Heavyweight Champion.
Matt Hardy was on his way to becoming more of a manager but they kept changing the guys he was "managing" with little to no explanation then "merged" his stable with Andrade for absolutely no reason in my eyes.
Edge should get a fairly short run as a singles start before he and Christian inevitably team back up for their final run, Christian is doing a great job of being that cocky prick you just can't stand I loved it when he would claim to be TNT Champion during Luchasaurus run, I would have rather Luchasaurus was still the champion, but I do understand the decision to move the belt to Christian. I just wish there was some resentment on Luchasaurus' part for Christian "stealing" his championship.
As much as I am enjoying the Acclaimed, I was really liking them more when Billy Gunn was "retired." The House of Black should have won the match were they dropped the belt and kept Billy Gunn retired and the Acclaimed could be back in the Tag Team Championship picture.
There is one problem with guys like Jericho and Edge becoming managers, there size by comparison to the rest of the AEW roster. When Harley Race transitioned to being a manager he was managing guys like Vader who were bigger than him. Christian is a great fit with Luchasaurus in this respect.
I do believe that it's time for JR to step aside from the commentary desk, as much as JR was the voice of my teen years every commentators time behind the desk comes to an end. AEW has plenty of commentators who can fill that void.
Finally I do agree with thoughts on Bullet Club Gold. Jay White seems bland on the mic, Juice Robinson in my opinion is the breakout star of the group and BCG has breathed a much needed breathe of fresh air into the Gunns. Those two were floundering hard in AEW until they joined up with White and Robinson.

One thing that 100% halted AEW's momentum was how the AEW career of CM Punk played out.
CM Punk came in super hot and some members of the roster became jealous (you can't convince me otherwise) and stories about CM Punk kept coming out week in and week out. Then the Brawl Out happened. If that didn't happen and if CM Punk didn't get hurt while winning the World Championship (both times) AEW would be in a much better position today than it currently is.
After the Brawl out happened Tony Khan should have forced all parties involved to sit down day one of CM Punks return and hash out all of their differences, but Tony Khan let the Young Bucks blow things off until the All In show while other people on the roster kept needling Punk looking for a reaction out of him and we all know how that played out.
If AEW still had CM Punk and added Adam Copeland to the roster it would be a much bigger deal than it currently is. Right now Tony Khan needs to focus on resigning as many of his homegrown talents (MJF, Ricky Starks, Wardlow, etc) before WWE starts sniffing around near the end of their contracts. Losing talents like those will be comparable to WCW letting Jericho, Paul Wight, Eddie Guererro, Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn and he who shall not be named walk out the door to WWF while keeping the aging former WWF stars like Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage at the top of the card.

It was announced on Rampage last night that Danhausen will be returning soon.
He'd make a great manager for Bullet Club Goldhausen.
Very nice! Very evil! Love that Danhausen!
If you don't love that Danhausen, you will be cursed!
