NOTE: We had some technical issues on this one due to faulty internet connections. I've attempted to remove as many pauses, stutters, and as much of the static as I can. Unfortunately, I uploaded the incorrect version the first time around - so if you downloaded prior to 11 PM Eastern, I would encourage you to delete that and re-download the newest iteration. Thanks! We're back with a fun-filled episode as we take a deep dive into the latest FTR set. Riding shotgun is FTR mastermind, Swarm Beaubien. Characters, stats, art, narrative - we get to it all in a compact 80 minutes, no less. Plus, we've got all the latest news and notes from Fed HQ. Thanks, as always, for listening, promoters, and Happy Holidays! WebsiteAppleGoogleSpotify

Good morning, galaxy!
Well, that was fun. After listening to myself on the podcast (always weird) I realized I sure ramble a lot lol and I totally didn’t answer Sam’s first question about if I was worried about any cards from FTR :sets 1 and 2 getting lost in this new set. The answer is no, as I’m pretty sure almost all of the wrestlers from those sets got a new feud or were involved somehow with new stories in Screwjob.
Mayham + Chameleon get the spotlight in a new feud w Arctic Empire…Uranus feuds w Splash, Pardon & Crossbones get a boost with the arrival of Witch & Moonlight and Disciple of Terror has another new feud w Forge. Astarte is caught in the middle of the big murder mystery, as is Sonny Rocket. All those guys have something to do in Screwjob.
I guess if anyone stayed put it was Mad Maxus vs Eugenics Project, but I don’t think anyone could forget about them, especially w the great looking new tag belts at stake.
So I hope that answers that. I’m unfortunately nowhere near to rolling out the Screwjob stuff myself as my own fed is still at the beginning of FTR Prime Suspects - but I hope to wrap that up here over the holidays. But I did roll 3 matches just for fun last night. Screwjob beat Vacant w a 2nd TITAN SCREWJOB after surviving SPINECRACKER. Shockingly no DQs there. Same w Moonlight who burned Witch w ABSOLUTE PARDON - quick note on that. We decided last minute to give that move a dis 5 (was a 4) because decided a fireball was more worthy of a 5 than just an illegal move like SPINECRACKER. Helps get the fireball over more than just some illegal maneuver. And even w that extra risk involved, Moonlight won big.
Lastly I ran Blur vs Workrate and was very pleased when it turned out to be a long and exciting match full of drama. Long match, lots of reversals and PIN tokens that finally ended with a successful SIX STAR SPLASH. The fans loved it!
Can’t wait to get FTR Screwjob officially going in my corner of the galaxy soon. Thanks again for having me on the podcast, always a fun time!

BTW, was that a joke about editing out that Kronos slip, because you didn't. Announcement came a little earlier than expected.

I always like to get more insight into each character, as it gives me a better sense of how that character thinks and acts. Thanks for talking about this new set to help promoters get into the heads of these new to our rosters.

Just want to say that there is no one I'd rather listen to than Swarm when it comes to card creation... From initial backstory to final spit n' polish on the stats, it's easy to tell that he wants every aspect of these characters fleshed out properly... Another excellent episode!

I really enjoyed this week's conversation about FTR and the creative process. I found the background on Splash especially moving. What a cool tribute to Drew's cousin! I agree 100% with your words at the end of the podcast, Sam Fain, regarding keeping this all in perspective.

Finally got to listen to the podcast. First off I’m very thankful to Werner for capturing Ky’s essence. Me and my family are ecstatic with the art. Ky nickname was Splash because as an aspiring fashion designer he would always add a random Splash of color on his designs. He was taken from us last January in a senseless act of gun violence when he was shot while driving to work. I appreciate and thank Rob and everyone at Filsinger Games and Fed HQ for bringing him back to life. I cant say enough positive things about this community. Hope everyone enjoys using him
