Great North Wrestling invades The Mayo Civic Center once again! And here are the results from a wild night in ROCHESTER......

After being on the receiving end most of the match, it was the unpredictable DIAMOND CUTTER that gets Diamond Dallas Page the win in Rochester! Lord Alfred Hayes was at his cunning best, and dominated Page from the opening bell. Hayes went to shoot Page into the ropes, and in desperation DDP hits the DIAMOND CUTTER!!! for the 1,2,3!
Time: (8:47).

Tiger Conway Jr. faced The Dirty White Boy in a very good second match. DWB and Tiger Jr. both looked sharp and delivered a solid back and forth match. After a big BACK BODY DROP, Conway (2 tokens) goes for his BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX and that was the end of the line for the DWB (3 tokens).

The dastardly RUSSIANS (Ivan/Nikita Koloff) fully unleashed their brutal fury against The Flying Redheads, Red Bastien and Billy Red Lyons tonight in the packed Mayo Civic Center! The Russian team used their obvious strength advantage to perfection, not letting Red or Billy hit full stride the entire match. After pounding the daylights out of both Redheads, Ivan gets the 3-count on Lyons with a FALLING FACE SLAM! Time: (11:16).

********INTERMISSION********

"The King" reigns supreme in Rochester! Jerry Lawler and Hercules Ayala clashed in a spectacle of epic proportions! Ayala's strength was only surpassed by Lawler's determination to win! After nearly submitting Jerry with a prolonged grueling BEARHUG, the tide of the match turns when Lawler crashes Herc backfirst into the corner. The the strap goes off Lawler's shoulder then he goes to town on a weakened Ayala. Jerry hoists his opponent up a delivers a huge PILEDRIVER to get the pin.
Time: (10:31).

Ken Patera gets back on the winning track as he defeated Dirty Dick Murdoch! Of course it wasn't an easy task to accomplish, but Ken manages to get the job done tonight in Rochester! After surviving Murdoch's BRAINBUSTER, Patera ends this one with a POWERSLAM! Time: (9:58).

***GNW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP***
In his fourth defense of GNW gold, STAN HANSEN survived the HAWAIIAN HAMMER and pulls out a hard earned win over tonight's challenger Don Muraco! The Magnificent One, matched the " Bad Man from Borger" blow for blow and move for move. It was an ugly beautiful symphony of destruction! After a taxing melee out on the floor, ending when Stan crashes Don headfirst into the ringpost...Stan tosses his bloody foe back into the ring, and goes in for the KILL! He uses his LARIAT to nearly decapitate Muraco, before POWERBOMBING Don nearly through the mat, and making the pin! Time: (11:18).

Brian Sager: Very impressive win for Great North Wrestling World Champion Stan "The Lariat" Hansen!!...and a very spirited effort by The Magnificent Muraco as well. The results are in from an exciting night in Rapid City!!!

Brad Armstrong came back strong, winning his match against Hugh Morrus. Morrus battered young Brad for the bulk of the fight, but the stubborn youngster evaded pinfall and submission. He mounts a spirited rally, and pins a gassed Morrus with a textbook RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP. Time: (9:46).

Tugboat Taylor, in a rare singles match, was evidently rusty, as Baron Von Raschke easily defeated him. From the initial bum-rush attack by Raschke, it was over for Tugboat. The big German quickly incapacitated his larger opponent, then wasted no time engaging his BRAIN CLAW for the coup de Gras!
Time: (8:22).

Canadian star Dino Bravo shines bright in his win over the enigmatic Chris Colt!. Colt's unusual style, kept Dino confused and at bay, but the muscle-man eventually figured him out. After administering a substantial amount of punishment, Bravo (1 fatigue) pins Colt (3 fatigue) after a SIDE SUPLEX. Time: (8:43).

**********INTERMISSION**********

THE largest (by weight) tag-team in Great North Wrestling, Yukon Eric and Moose Cholak (aka YUKON GOLD), pulled out a small upset, defeating former GNW WORLD Tag-Team champions The B&B DESTRUCTION Co (Bad News Allen/Brickhouse Brown). In Rapid City tonight the big boys (Eric/Cholak) with the crowd solidly behind them were unstoppable. EVERY offensive attempt by Brown or Allen, was ultimately snuffed out by either Cholak or big Yukon Eric! In the end Moose gets the pin via EL SQUASHO-ING a helpless Bad News Allen! Time: (10:49).

King Kong Mosca wasn't in the mood to dilly-dally tonight in the Monument Arena. That was unfortunate for his opponent Samoa Joe. Mosca was at his nastiest, and he went right after Joe. Joe fought hard, but Angelo was crazed and violent in his assaults. After a tremendous comeback attempted by Joe, Mosca uses 2 BIG NASTY ELBOWS to put the Samoan down. Time: (9:52).

**GNW INTER-STATE TITLE SHOT 3-WAY**
3 of Great North Wrestling's creme de la creme met in this epic spectacle! And it truly lived up to the hype. Thunderbolt Patterson, AJ Styles and Austin Idol fought like crazy with a shot at the Inter-State gold on the line. Styles wowed the crowd with his aerial acrobatics, Idol used his awesome power, and Patterson his experience and cunning. Each participant had their chance to seize this golden opportunity! Back and forth, in and outside of the ring this war raged on. In the end former 2-Time Inter-State Champion AUSTIN IDOL gets the shot, using his PILEDRIVER on Styles for the 1,2,3....with Patterson arriving too late to save AJ! Time: (18:38).

*GNW INTER-STATE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH*
In another "Match of the Year" candidate, the GNW INTER-STATE TITLE changes hands tonight in RAPID CITY!! Champion Wilbur Snyder falls to a determined Curt Hennig in an instant mat classic! Snyder dug into his vast scientific arsenal, and HENNIG his "bag of tricks", mixed with some solid wrestling. After refusing to submit to Snyder's brutal ABDOMINAL STRETCH, Hennig uses an eye rake and a low-blow (no DQ) to slow Wilbur's attack. Then after a series of slams and elbows, Curt puts Snyder away for good with THE AXE !! Snyder (3 tokens), Hennig (2).
Time: (22:33).

Here are the results from an electric pre-Thanksgiving gathering in Madison, Wisconsin!!!

Chris Colt nearly gets the win over Thunderbolt Patterson tonight in Madison. He was on his way to an impressive victory, until his "Dark Side" got the better of him. His propensity to break the rules(even when unnecessary), was his undoing as he gets DISQUALIFIED for failing to adhere to the referee's directions. Time: (8:12).

Fit Finlay and AJ Styles met in one helluva match! The onery Irishman took it to AJ right from the opening bell! Styles eventually manages to counter this with some nifty agility moves. After letting Finlay tire himself out, STYLES wins via CALF KILLER! Time: (9:03).

Big Bill Miller made a statement tonight in Wisconsin! Miller was all brutal business as he defeated "The Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez in a slobber-knocker!! Manny failed twice to keep Bill down with his FLYING BURRITO! MILLER used his size and power to its maximum, winning after delivering 2 consecutive BACKBREAKERS! Time: (10:26).

**********INTERMISSION**********

The GUNNslingers (Billy/Bart Gunn) unceremoniously made their debut, with an ugly disqualification victory over Ox Baker and Stan Stasiak, better known as THE HEART-STOPPERS. Stan and Ox weren't impressed in the least by the GUNNS....and showed their disdain for the fan-favs, by beating them from pillar to post, inside and outside of the squared circle! With Ox taking Billy to task in the ring......STASIAK is disqualified on the outside for putting Bart through the time-keeper's table! Time: (9:53).

**GNW WORLD TITLE SHOT**
The infamous "Golden Greek" is in line for the next shot at the World title by virtue of his big win over Barry Windham! John Tolos was unstoppable tonight, and earned a hard fought victory over young Windham. In a back and forth affair, full of highs and lows for both participants this went down to the wire! Tolos (1token) pins Barry (3 tokens) after a vicious CORKSCREW! Time: (23:23).

**DOG COLLAR MAIN EVENT**
It was CARNAGE and MAYHEM as Kevin Sullivan clashed again with the BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN Jimmy Valiant! It was not for the faint of heart, as the blood spilled freely in this one! Not much wrestling, but plenty of blood and sweat and animalistic rage. These two hated rivals used the chain to wreak havoc on one another! They whipped and battered each other, with sadistic glee as the crowd roared in approval! Finally Valiant incapacitated Sullivan long enough to deliver a NECKBREAKER for the 1,2,3.......

The first GNW post-Thanksgiving show, was held SUNDAY 11/26/23 in the historic ARMORY in Minneapolis!!!...here are the results!

A tag-team contest opened the evening, between Chaz and Tugboat Taylor, and DOGS OF WAR members Sgt. Craig Pittman and Ranger Ross! It was an even match from bell to bell. Lots of good clean, physical wrestling.(Taylors 2 tokens, Dogs of War 2 tokens). This exciting match ends in a 10 MINUTE TIME-LIMIT DRAW.

Two savvy veterans clashed in a very competitive match, and the fans loved every second of this one! Ray Stevens started off fast, hoping to end Rocky Johnson's night early. But Johnson, a former GNW Inter-State Champion, was up to the challenge! After a back and forth battle, with Rocky evading pins on 3 occasions, he mounts a powerful counter-attack and puts The Crippler down for the count with a resounding POWERSLAM.
Time: (9:47).

Sgt. Slaughter met Dirty Dick Murdoch tonight in a real brawling affair! Murdoch was as cantankerous as ever, but THE SARGE would not be denied victory! These two brawled all over THE ARMORY, in a non-stop brawl-o-rama! Sarge kicks out of a Murdoch RUNNING CLOTHESLINE pin attempt, finally slapping on a COBRA CLUTCH for the win!
Time: (8:36)

The tough and gritty New Yorker, Adrian Adonis puts a big feather in his cap tonight beating the legendary ANTONINO ROCCA! Rocca who never has a bad match, was ELECTRIFYING early on and Adonis had to bail out of the ring to gather himself more than once as the crowd taunted him endlessly! After gaining some momentum (a low-blow no DQ) Adrian put a major hurting on a downed Rocca. After kicking out numerous times, Adonis drives Antonino headfirst into the mat with a match ending DDT. Time: (11:27).

**WORLD Tag-Team Title Shot Match**
Red Bastien and Billy Red Lyons are going to go for TAG-TEAM GOLD!! The Flying Redheads defeated The Rock-n-Roll Express in an aerial dog-fight! Both teams were on fire, and used some explosive moves on the other. The tagging was fast and furious, and the crowd was on the edge of their seats cheering both of these popular teams on! With both teams starting to tire a bit, Lyons manages to get a SLEEPER on Ricky Morton, while Bastien cuts off the Gibson pin-save giving THE REDHEADS the victory! Time: (13:18).

**GNW INTER-STATE CHAMPIONSHIP**
I.S. champion Curt Hennig makes his first title defense a successful one as he defeats The challenge of Austin Idol. This one was physical and its effects will linger well into the following days! Idol powered his way to 2 pin attempts, but Hennig managed to kick his way out. Curt also avoided Austin's devastating Las Vegas Leglock, en route to his win. After being the first to his feet after a DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE..Hennig uses his HENNIG PLEX, and gets the 1....2.....3!

ANOTHER fundraising success! Great North Wrestling and YMCAS of Wisconsin would like to thank all you amazing fans for your support!
Here are the results.......

Cowboy Scott Casey defeated Buff Bagwell in our opening contest, but it wasn't easy! Buff powered his way to an early advantage, but just couldn't find the perfect combination to finish Scott off. In a furious comeback Casey pins Bagwell after a textbook BULLDOG!
Time: (7:45).

Another one of the "Young Lions" of Great North Wrestling, was victorious in our second feature as Brad Armstrong downed the rough and rugged South African, Colonel Debeers! Debeers brutally attacked Brad in the early stages, and almost pinned him after a ring-shaking PILEDRIVER....but young Armstrong kicks out just in the nick of time! Debeers takes too much time, strutting and jawing with the SOLD-OUT crowd, and pays dearly for it, as Brad rolls him up from behind for a quick 1,2,3! Post-match an enraged and embarrassed Debeers proceeds to stomp a mud hole in Armstrong, leaving him in a heap in the middle of the ring. Time: (9:23).

Hercules Ayala powers his way past The Dirty White Boy tonight in the jam-packed Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center! In a physical and grueling contest Hercules comes out on top nailing The DWB with a timely SCOOP POWERSLAM that stuns Mr. Anthony long enough to keep his shoulders to the canvas for the 3-count. Time: (10:12).

Baron Von Raschke and Bobby Duncum's stiff challenge was struck down tonight, by The British Bulldogs! It was brawn and brutality vs power and finesse! Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith were able to fend off the big German, and the big Texan, while looking impressive as well. After a clinic in the art of double-teaming, The Dynamite Kid executes his DIVING HEADBUTT and knocks The Baron out cold!!! (Baron/Duncum 3 tokens, Bulldogs 1). Time: (10:51).

Al Perez stuns DDP in tonight's upset special! Page just couldn't figure out Perez and Al was all business tonight. He countered and controlled this match with complete confidence in his abilities. After thwarting Dallas, time and time again, he hoisted a tired DDP up and tossed him across the ring, with his ALICOPTER, for the victory. Time: (12:19).

In another fiercely fought affair, Jerry Lawler struck down THE MAGNIFICENT MURACO, In a brawl for the ages! The crowd was loud and proud, and supplied "The King" with enough energy to pull himself off the canvas and into the winner's circle. After absorbing a ton of punishment, Jerry roars his way back! After a PILEDRIVER, he climbs up the turnbuckle and delivers his 2ND ROPE FIST DROP, and it was lights out for The Magnificent One!
Time: (11:13).

**GNW NON-TITLE MAIN EVENT**
Great North Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Stan Hansen, made quite the impression on the Eau Claire crowd tonight, as he bested Pepper Gomez tonight in NON-TITLE action! Pepper offered some stiff resistance early, but Hansen managed to handle it with relative ease. After pummeling Gomez on the outside of the ring, he tosses the bloody Pepper back into the ring, and goes in for the kill! He then re-enters the ring and begins stomping on the head of Gomez.Then Hansen lifts Pepper's limp body up towards the rafters and delivers an unnecessary POWERBOMB, before making an nonchalant cover for the pin! Time: (8:48).
