Sadly Antonio Inoki will not have the chance to become a three time Champion.

Certainly nothing wrong with Thesz making the final... But, it's unfortunate that Backlund suffered some bad luck on that pin roll... Still looking at Macho Man to advance!

I have to go with Randy Savage, even if Big Van Vader seems almost unstoppable. Thesz vs. Backlund was a battle pf two ring generals and Thesz took it. I'm going to go all the way with Savage as my pick but I would not be surprised if Thesz or Vader came out on top. Awesome final four.

Before the final match I would just like to thank everyone who took the time to follow along with the results this year. The feedback and predictions add an extra level of enjoyment to this event each year. I would also like to thank everyone from the “Legends Team” who were involved in the creation of the cards from the signing to the shipping of the final product and everything in between. The fact that this tournament is so fun to play out year after year is a testament to the high quality of their work.
The discussion of strongest card mechanic usually includes Lou Thesz & Big Van Vader so it is only fitting that two of the best have survived the field to clash in the finals. Keep in mind that they will be the top two seeds in 2023 as well. I am not sure I would want to slip into next year’s event at number 63 or 64.

Well, well, well... Great Gama, Vampiro, Bob Backlund and Randy Savage have all been ousted from the field... Looks like my predictions (and hopes) have been dashed to naught... LOL! Vader is a brutal monster, but Thesz is a technical machine... And in this case, I'm picking the machine over the monster... Mr Thesz has been one of the most consistently brilliant performers in my own Legends fed and I'm going with him for the win.
In addition, I would like to thank you for running this annual tournament... It is something that I look forward to every year and you do a superb job of relaying the action... Very nice work!
